The Ultra-high Performance and Wide-Band Frequency Synthesizer Design Based on Low-Frequency and Narrow-Band

Abstract:With the fast development of testing instruments,the application of high frequency signal is becoming more and more,the testing system performance requirements are also getting higher and higher.Based the high-performance low-frequency and narrow-band synthesizer,an ultra-high performance and wide-band frequency synthesizer scheme is introduced.The scheme uses dual-loop PLL which contain fractional-N PLL and frequency-mixed PLL.The fast phase-locked which use the fractional-N PLL,achieves the large amplitude switching in the wideband.In the frequency-mixed PLL,it obtains ultra-high performance and wide-band frequency synthesizer through mixing narrowband signals in different frequency bands and the feedback signal of VCO.The stability and wide-band high frequency signal is realized finally.
