Abstract：Based on PEI domain,this paper proposes a novel error-resilience technology for H.263 video transmission.It includes adaptive forward error-correction,error concealment and error-propagation prevention algorithms utilizing PEI domain.Simulation results show that the video quality is obviously improved using proposed technique over variable and error-prone channels.Furthermore,these algorithms are compatible with H.263 standard,and the presented technology has been used in practice.
