Abstract:According to the analysis of meteor burst channel,the mechanism of variable rate data transmission for Meteor Burst Communication (MBC) is developed and a receiver based on coefficients-mapped decision feedback equalization (DFE) via channel acquisition is proposed,which agrees with the structure of MBC data frame.With the channel impulse response being obtained by fast correlation operation,the relationship between channel parameters and equalizer coefficients is derived so that DFE coefficients can be directly calculated from the estimated channel parameters.It is shown that,the presented algorithm provide more significantly robust against channel variation than a traditional DFE employing adaptive coefficient tracking,and therefore makes data receiving stable for variable rate data transmission of MBC system.Computer simulation results are also included to support our development.
