Abstract:This paper presents an uplink power control algorithm using hybrid neural network techniques.Based on the FER target criteria and CRC detection of wireless channel in real time,the Adaline out-loop controller adjusts the target SIR according to the FER need.The Hopfield inner-loop controller adjusts the mobile transmit power in order to keep the received uplink signal to interference ratio at the SIR target.Comparing with the conventional fixed-step approaches,this algorithm enhances control accuracy,improves the control system stability,and provides better QoS criteria.Simulations show the effectiveness of the algorithm.
