摘要:The analytical approach to optimal design of long distance optical soliton communication systems with lumped amplifiers is proposed in this paper.The analytical expression of the optimal fiber dispersion is derived for the first time by using the Gaussian approximate formula of the bit error rate.The limit formula of the transmission capacity is given. Making use of the approximate analytical theory presented in this paper,we design a set of typical optimal systems,which are very close to the numerical results obtained in our previous papers.
摘要:This paper presents a variable length code (VLC) which can be expressed with analytic formula,and three methods of encoding/decoding for the VLC.Then it raises a decomposition method of the VLC.The decomposed multi-VLCs keep coding efficiency of the no-decomposition VLC original,but the complexity of encoding/decoding of the decomposed multi-VLCs is reduced.
摘要:In this paper, computation over finite rings using a digital neural network approach is proposed. The network is designed with a nonsymmetrical connection and digital structure. It is characterized by a unique equilibium point and massively parallel architecture so that the computation is error-free and real-time.Application of this network to Chinese Remainder Theorem is also considered.

摘要:In this paper,a link between Markov random fields and Boltzmann machines is discussed and a multivalued Boltzmann machine called vector machine model is presented.In the model,the evolution of the multivalued Boltzmann machine is implemented by using a binary Boltzmann machine. One of the advantages is the fact that the number of units of a neural network can be reduced significantly as the model represents grey images.Some examples are also presented on the application of noisy images and generation of textured images.

摘要:This paper addresses the problem of identification of a moving average system based on higher-order cumulant alone, and proposes a new method for parameter estimation,including a new normal equation approach and a new closed-form recursive solution.Simulation examples show high resolution of this paper’s method.

摘要:In this paper, the DRS(directly receiving signal) feature detection method and the "interrupted" adaptive DRS cancellation method for time-domain scattering signal extraction based on BP neural network are presented. In the meantime, the DRS cancellation method which has been preprocessed with decorrelation technique and the adaptive processing method of the directly subtracted signal are also introduced. Some computer simulations have shown the effectiveness of those algorithms.

摘要:The problem of computational model and algorithm for extracting and tracking objects moving in complicated scenes has been studied from the viewpoint of visual perception. The effect of changing model parameters on optimum threshold selection for image segmentation has been analysed and tested.It is different to conventional algorithms that the new approach proposed integrates proper object background condition,visual nonlinearity,interframe correlativity and differences into a two-step segmentation process which includes three criteria and a fast optimizing procedure.Object tracking is then implemented by binary template matching.The experiments conducted on visibleband image sequences are reported.

摘要:A new class of multiphase complementary(MPC)codes with the nucleu consist of p3 or p4 code of lenth n=4 is introduced,and the simulations of 64 bit MPC codes under conditions of exist Doppler,strong clutter and low signal.to noise is performed, and then,made a comparison of the properties between MPC codes and p4 code. Finally,the algorithm of MPC codes is shown as well.
摘要:The performances of the M-ary orthogonal code spread spectrum system in wide band jamming, partial band jamming and pulsed noise jamming are analyzed, and compared with the performances of the tranditional binary spread spectrum system. With the same bit rate and same chip rate,M-ary orthogonal cede spread spectrum system is superior to the binary spread spectrum system.
摘要:The problem about the stability of dynamic routing in computer communication Networks is presented. From system control’s point of view, the control-oriented state space models describing the process of packets transmitted through out the network variables in a multiple traffic and multiple link network are established. In order to study the nonstationary performance of dynamic routing strategy,based on Lyapunov stability theory,some constrains and conditions about the link average utilization function G(·)and the routing variable matrix R ̄d ensuring the stability of network are developed. Finally, a simple example and some conclusions are given.

摘要:Hidden Markov Model(HMM)is a successfully used algorithm in speech recognition, yet its disadvantages limit its performance, speed, hardware implementation and application. Neural network (NN)has many advantages such as parallel processing ability, powerful discriminating ability, ease of hardware implementation etc.The hybrid systems based on the combination of HMM and NN can overcome their disadvantages while maintain their advantages.In this paper, four kinds of HMM and NN hybrid systems which have been widely used in speech recognition were described in detail. From the discussion of their structure, recognition performance and characteristics, it can be seen that the gybrid systems are superior to HMM and NN thus are more suitable for speech recognition.
摘要:In this paper, the artificial neural network is proposed for the partitioning problem in telecommunication network design.A parallel algorithm based on the neural network is presented and used to solve the graph partitioning problem. The parallel algorithm was tested by some randomly generated examples including up to 100-vertex problem.Computer simulation results show that the parallel algorithm finds better solutions than the heuristic algorithm within fifteen iterationn steps.
摘要:A design method of switched-current(SI)ladder filters using the bilinear transformation is proposed.The method is not based on SC counterpart but exactly simulates all-pole and finitezero LC ladder prototypes directly using a novel SI modular block-Bilinear/Differential(BiD)integrator presented in this paper.Therefore the design process of the filters and the circuit structure are simplified.

摘要:The triangle rule on the restriction of power in LMS algorithm is suggested. The converged process of the algorithm is also analyzed with the rule. Lastly the relationship between the dynamical misadjustment defined in this paper, and the steady state misadjustment is established.

摘要:The maximum eigenvalue varied rate criteria(MEVRC),is presented as a new approach in determining the number of harmonics in a given signal. In contrast to AIC and MDL criteria, MEVRC does not use a bias term.It is based on the eigenvalue varied rate of the smallest eigenvalues to estimate the number of signals. Simulation results indicate that the performance of MEVRC is better than the AIC in normal SNR and sample situations, and better than the MDL in adverse conditions.

摘要:In many radar,sonar and communication systems,the coherent detectors of the receivers are generally implemented in the form of two parallel basehand channels which form in-phase(I) and quadrature (Q)components of received IF signal.With traditional I andQ channels,the imperfect matching of these separate channels results in high phases errors(2~3°)and amplitude errors(o. 5dB).These factors greatly limit the system performance.This paper provides a new method by sampling the IF signal directly and detecting by way of DSP(digital signal processing).This approach provides improved accuracy.This paper also provides a basic hardware scheme and a typical result.
摘要:In this paper,a new blind equalization algorithm, RG algorithm,has been presented. Like Godard blind equalization algorithm,the convergence performance of the RG algorithm is very good, and its symbol error performance is better than that of Godard algorithm, especially for MPSK modulation system. The analysis and simulation indicate that the RG algorithm is a good blind equalization algorithm for data transmission system.
