摘要:The transient electromagnetic pulse responses of a conducting sphere and a conducting prolate spheroid are measured in practical space by the experimental impulse radar,which is based on Transient Electromagnetic Measurement System and breaks through the limitation of traditional Time-Domain Scattering-Range Technology. From the measured transient electromagnetic pulse responses, the impulse responses of the conducting sphere and the conducting prolate spheroid are better inverted using Modified Steepest Descent Method.Transient Response Method for measuring the wideband radar cross-section(RCS)of targets in time domain is presented. Using this method,the RCS and the resonance frequencies of the conducting sphere and the conducting prolate spheroid are obtained.
摘要:In this paper,an aperture designing technique of multi-step amplitude quantization for twodimensional solid-state active phased arrays to transmit low sidelobe is described.It is shown that this method is effective to reduce the peak sidelobe level of solid-state active phased arrays and can be applied to the arbitrary complex aperture antennas.In addition,gain loss and sidelobe degradation due to random amplitude and phase errors and element(or T/R module) failure are investigated.

摘要:As the natural development of the eigen-function Global Numerical Boundary Condition (GNBC).the non-eigen-function GNBC is presented.In this paper the GNBC of second kind is deduced from the EM Equivelence Principle and formally evaluated by moment method(NM)solutions of equivelent source intesral equations. In this sence,the GNBC based finite element(FE)solutions are actully the hybrid solutions of the MM and FF,hence they are inherently the very generalized numerical procedure for the complicated EM boundary value problems.Three typical application examples to open-region EM problems are given for demonstration.
摘要:The design method for hybrid waveforms utilizing random poly-cell code pulse position modulation (PPM)and pulse-to-pulse binary sequences phase modulation (PM) is introduced in this paper.Average ambiguity function of the hybrid waveforms is deduced and analyzed.It is shown that the hybrid waveforms have not only simple structure and convenient processing property, but also good resolution of distance and velocity,and good charactristics of ECCM.
摘要:The two-dimensional (2-D) ARMA modelling problem of 2-D sinusoids in white noise is studied. By utilizing the results obtained,several methods are proposed for estimating the 2-D frequencies of multiple 2-D sinusoids.

摘要:A fundamental method which is utilized to solve the electromagnetic scattering(TE and TM wave)from a conducting cylinder covered by lossy dielectrics is investigated by using the lattice theory. Such cylinder can be regarded as the combination of plane lattices and line lattices,from which one will solve the scattering problem conveniently by studying the self-actions and mutual-actions of these lattices.Some numerical examples are given.
摘要:The error analysis and accuracy improvement of the method of lines are carried out in this paper.Various kinds of error and their effects on the solution of the method of lines are discussed.Based on the error analysis, the relations between the number of lines and the accuracy of propagation constants or eigenvalues are deduced. Finally,several techniques for improving the accuracy of the method of lines are presented.

摘要:According to types of information used,radar passive observation systems are divided into the types of bearing, time of arrival,Doppler,bearing and time of arrival,bearing and Doppler.For every type of systems,observability is analyzed in common observation model.The approximate equivalent relation in systems between time difference of arrival and Doppler is shown by comparing their observability degrees.
摘要:In this paper, the effect of the bandwidth of interference, qualitization noise of A/D converters and errors of amplitude and phase in channels on the performance of cancelling interference in Digital Beamforming is analyzed.The analytic expressions about residual power of the interference which is caused by the factors mentioned above are presented.Some numerical results are also provided.
摘要:The integral equation method for magnetic field chich is usually used to calculate the TE Wave scattering from a closed conducting cylinder is invalid when it is applied to the TE Wave scattering from a conducting strip. In this paper,we will inuestigate an electric field method by using the electromagnetic lattice theory.The problem of TE Wave scattering from a conducting strip covered by lossy dielectrics is solved by combining with the electromagnetic lattice equation of a dielectric cylinder.Some examples are given.
摘要:A test strategy based on nonuniform sampling in time-domain, frequency-domain and state-domain is presented in this paper,The modeling techniques,select of sample points and estimation of parameters are included. Examples of precision DC electrical measurement in time-domain,acquiring frequency response of linear time-invariant systems with minimum-phase and testing nonlinearity error of D/A converters are also given.
摘要:This paper reviews the principles,problems and new progresses of the finite element method for microwave and optical waveguide devices.It discusses the significance of the variational formulae suitable for different problems,concentrates on the techniques to avoid or eliminate spurious modes and to deal with open-boundary problems.It also comments on three aspects-the edge-element method,analysis of nonlinear structures and pre-/post-processing problems of the finite element programs,which are considered to represent the developing trends of this field.,

摘要:Eigenmode sequence for an elliptic waveguide with arbitrary eccentricity is studied by directively calculating modified Mathieu functions and their derivatives of the first kind. The normalized cutoff wavelegths of the lowest 100 successive modes are presented, and the curvefitting expressions for the determination of the cutoff wavelength of the 10 lowest order modes are given,which are valid for the eccentricity ranging from 0.0 to 1.0.
摘要:This paper proposes a new non-uniform phase quantization method of digital radio frequency memory(DRFM).By means of combination of amplitude quantization method with phase quantization method,it is possible to have the advantages of both the lower spurious level in amplitude quantization DRFM and the larger dynamic range in phase quantization DRFM.

摘要:The paper begins with a study on the machanism of the random flunctuation in the sidelobe region of adaptive beam. Then the principles and performances of Signal Subspace Generalized Sidelobe Canceler(GSC)and Butler net GSC are studied. To simplify the system structure,a cascade scheme for Signal Subspace GSC is proposed.

摘要:In order to evaluate the noise reduction performance of various linear filters,we propose a new formula to calculate their output signal to noise(ANR)and use a unified approach to derive the minimum up bound of linear filters’output SNR.It is applicable to any kinds of input signals:the power limited signals, the energy limited signals,the known signals, and the random signals.We also demonstrate that the often used Wiener Filter and Match Filter, although derived from different criteria,can improve their output signal to noise ratios.

摘要:Two-dimensional electromagnetic scattering from an underground cylinder is the foundation of underground EM prospecting. The conventional procedure employing the boundary integral equation method and spectral domain technique is very complicated,it is inconvenient for the enginnering application.In this paper,a new procedure,generalized equivalent sources method in spectral domain, is proposed.The scatterer is substituted by a set of appropriate generalized equivalent sources for avoiding the boundary integration,and the Sommerfele’s integrals are simplified by use of a convergence accelerating technique.The formulations for analysing the scattering from an underground cylinder are given and utilized in several examples.

摘要:This paper presents a method that maps the polarization-diverse features extraction problem onto the Liapunov energy function of the Hopfield linear programming neural network,so as to obtain a real-time solution of these features derived from the polarization ellipse corresponding to the major scattering centers.Then those features are transformed so that we can make use of the ART2 neural network freely to perform automated target identification.
摘要:With microwave synthesizing employed to each column array,a rectangular planar phased arrays placed on airborne early warning (AEW) radars by side is transformed to a horizontal linear column subarrays along direction of platform flight.This paper study the effect of the elevation antenna pattern differences among column subarrays due to amplitude and phase errors existing in the array elements on clutter spoctra for AEW radars.
