摘要:The photometric stereo system can easily determine the surface orietation and relative depth of objects,but can not determine absolute depth. In order to determine absolute depth,this paper proposes an algorithm,this algorithm can obtain a needle map respectively by each camera of binocular photometric stereo system first, then solve disparities between the corresponding areas in two needle maps, finally combine disparities correctly, match them accurately and reconstruct 3-D depth of the object surface. This method is highly important for us to develop further exploring research on 3-D surface depth reconstruction and recovery of scene structure.
摘要:This paper discusses the problem of estimating the parameters of sinusoidal signals in colored Gaussian noises. Fourth-order cumulant-based ESPRIT approach is suggested which uses higher-order statistics of measurements. It is demonstrated by simulations that the new approach has high resolution and can suppress the effect of colored Gaussian noises.
摘要:This paper presents a neural network approach to computing the eigenvectors corresponding to tae largest and smallest eigenvalues of a positive matrix. We show both analytically and by simulation results that this proposed network is guaranteed to provide the results arbitrarily close to the accurate eigenvectors within an elapsed time of only a few characteristic time constants of the network.
摘要:For(F ̄n), the set of all functions from GF ̄n(q) to the complex field, the structure of invertible linear transform with convolution property over(F ̄n)is studied. The general form of such transform is presented in this paper. For F(F ̄n),the set of all maps from GF ̄n(q) to GF(q) ,it is proved that there exists no invertible linear transform with convolution property over F(F ̄n).
摘要:The nonlinear mapping ability of polynomial perceptron (PP)is analyzed in this paper,which shows that any continuous functions can be approximated with any given accuracy by the polynomial perceptron satisfying Stone-Weierstrass Theorem and the nonlinear mapping ability of the polynomial perceptron is the same as that of multilayer perceptron (MLP). A new lattice polynomial perceptron (LPP) model is derived, which is very suitable for VLSI implementation. Computer simulations have been carried out and the experimental results are given.
摘要:In a multipath environment, spatially smoothing processing is an effective approach to eliminating the deleterious effect of coherent interference on adaptive array systems.We note that the optimal weights are often obtained with respect to subarrays. This fact implies that there are extra adaptive degrees of freedom to be used to improve the performance of spatially smoothing adaptive arrays. A new technique is formulated in this paper for incorporating unused degrees of freedom into the adaptive array response.We show how to optimize a spatially smoothing adaptive array such that the white noise power in the array output,or the sidelobe levels of the adaptive array beam pattern are reduced. Numerical results illustrate the utility of the new technique.

摘要:In this Paper,we present a reconstruction method for binary textured images using a mean field technique. The textured image is modeled as a realization of Markov random fields. The reconstruction algorithm is an adaptive process that recursively performs the parameter estimation and the image reconstruction.The mean field method converts the stochastic equation characterized by the simulated annealing into the deterministic equation,and thus efficiently reduces the computational time. A set of simulations are given to show its performance.

摘要:A New 2D Optimal Digital Filter(ODF)which is used to extract texture features of the image is introduced in this paper. The design of the filter is based on the finite prolate spheroidal sequences (FPSS) and the discrete fourier transform (DFT).The frequency response of the filter is optimal in terms of energy loss. A distribution of the filters with different center frequency and band width over the frequency plane is used to extract texture features of the image then proceed to classify and to segment of them by using a nonparametric classifer. The practical segmented examples of an artificial and a natural texture image are shown in the paper.

摘要:Gabor zone plates are studied as ceded apertures in γ ray imaging.Theoretical analysis and computer simulations show that system performance using Gaber-zone-plate apertures is superior to that by conventional Fresnel-zone-plate apertures when correlation decoding methods are employed.

摘要:Some basic properties of the time-sidelobe of arbitrary sequence’s auto-correlation function have been studied and several theorems of the time lobe are also proved in the paper.Some practical examples are taken using the theorems. The first example is to search low sidelobe codes,and the second example uses sidelobe’s self-complementary property to cancel sidelobe of 63 bit PN code. The method for cancelling sidelobe needs only little add operation.
摘要:According to the theory that speech can be represented as a sum of sinusoidal waves,a new auditory model is developed on condition that cochlear fluid is considered as actual viscous fluid. Transfer function of the model is obtained in frequency domain. Mathematical structure of the model is very similar to that of traditional auditory model except that there is no Green’s function and convolution computation in the new model,so the new model is much more sinpler than the traditional one in strueture. Without considering the effect of middle ear,transfer function of the new model is much more improved than that of traditionol one.
摘要:A digital code conversion algorithm between 16kbps CVSD(Continuously Variable Slope Delta)and 64kbps A-law PCM is proposed in this paper,which eliminates cumulative distortion regardless of the number of the tandem transcodings in the steady state mode. Thus,the algorithm can enhance the performance of the telephone network linking between the special network and civil network.
摘要:A new medium access control protocol for MANs named DQCA(Distributed Queue Cyclic Access)is presented in this paper.When the users of DQCA MAN transfer long files,the network will reach a fair steady state which is after a transient period. There is no bandwidth wastage in the network.The transient period is shorter than that of DQDB. DQCA MAN has the flexibility in bandwidth allocation. Computer simulations illustrate the access characteristics of DQCA.

摘要:A new structure of index-predicted vector quantizer(VQ)has been proposed for image coding.Compared with the general VQ. it can obtain higher compression ratio by means of exploiting two dimensional correlation of picture signals, while keep the same decoded image quality.
摘要:Two new indexes to measure the stability of periods of sequences,fixed period distance and variable period distance,are presented in this paper.We also discuss the lower bounds of the two indexes on some sequences,and give a way to weight the stability of perods of sequences.

摘要:In this paper,we propose a method to modify McEliece’s public-key cryptosystem which can resist the Korzhik and Turkin’s attack algorithm. In addition,the security and performances of our cryptosystem are analysed,and it is shown that our cryptosystem is secure against the attack proposed by Korzhik and Turkin,as well as other known attacking methods.

摘要:Based on the result of former processing steps,edge tracing is classified as sequantial operation.In this paper,a new parallel algorithm──All Direction Tracing has been proposed. In this way, the sequantial bottleneck may be broken through. This algorithm can be realized on the GAPP systolic array processors.
