摘要:Detection of objects in images is often needed in pattern recognition and machine vision.In this paper,the Hausdorff distance is used to measure the degree of similarity between two objects,and a genetic algorithm is utilized to search interested objects.The experimental results show that the proposed method can efficiently detect the objects in images regardless of their changes in translation,rotation and scale.
摘要:Based on voltage to frequency(V/F) conversion a method for digital phase sensitive detection(DPSD) is proposed in this paper,by which a vector analysis of detected signals can be achieved.The detection performance of the proposed method,under AWGN and harmonics,is analyzed and computer simulation results are given for comparision between the well-known inphase/quadrature sampling method and the one described here.An architecture of microprocessor based implementation of the proposed method is also presented.
摘要:Principal Component Analysis(PCA) and Minor Component Analysis(MCA) are essential techniques in signal processing such as feature extraction,data compression,frequency estimation and curve fitting.Recently,there has been much interest in the connection between PCA,MCA and neural networks.It is a difficult problem in PCA and MCA when eigenvalues of covariance matrix R are not distinct.A new learning algorithm that the weight vectors will converge to orthonormal eigenvectors is proposed in this paper to solve the problem.
摘要:A procedure of detecting man-made objects in natural background from a visible image is presented,in which the fractals with self-similarity property is employed to model natural background,and the intrinsic difference in fractal characters between man-made objects and natural background is used to identify man-made objects.The methods of adaptive enhancement for fractal features and composite image segmentation are also discussed.Some experimental results for real images show that the procedure in this paper is applicable.
摘要:Maximum number of memories which can be stored in a binary Hopfield type neural network with N neurons is 2N.A necessary and sufficient condition for arbitrary K (1≤K≤2N)N-dimensional binary vectors to be stable states of the network is given.A binary Hopfield type neural network may have no any stable states,which is an important distinction with continuoustime Hopfield type neural network.Some conclusions are also given.

摘要:Fractionally differenced Gaussian noise(fdGn) process is a discrete time equivalent of fractional Brownian motion.Filtered versions of such processes are ideally suited for modeling signals with different short-term and long-term correlation characteristics.In this paper,we study the structure identification of filtered fdGn processes.For signals that exhibit a weak or moderate long-term persistence,an OIVPM-MDL structure identification method is proposed based on overdetermined instrumental variable product moment(OIVPM) and minimum description length(MDL) criteria,and for signals with a strong long-term correlation between samples a combinative approach of inverse fractional filtering and the OIVPM-MDL method is also described.Examples are given to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.
摘要:The synthetic aperture radar(SAR) imaging system is portrayed as a multiple access information system and an information theory approach is applied to the SAR imaging system.The information content about a point target that can be extracted from its radar images is evaluated by the average mutual information and the average mutual intormation is also used to define a measure of radiometric resolution for radar images.A translative probability density function of the SAR imaging system is derived by analysing the system and a closed form of the information content is found.Some conclusions are obtained.The results presented provide a theoretical interpretion and an explanation for some well-known results in the field of SAR.
摘要:The fusion technology of neural network and fuzzy reason has been successfully and widely used in the signal procesing and controling of nonlinear systems in recent years.This paper presents a parallel topology structure of fusion based on the new concepts of robust neural network and mixed fuzzy reason.The fusion system faces not only non-Gaussian noise but also fuzzy signal.Experimental results are provided to indicate the performance of this fusion method in the tracking system of high frequency surface wave radar.
摘要:A new approach,based on the principle of the ESP(Equivalent Small Parameter)method,is presented for calculation of oscillations in higher-order nonlinear parametric excitation systems.The formulation and example have shown that higher-order harmonics and corrections of first harmonic are easy to obtain.The method is applicable to high-order nonlinear parametric systems and has the advantage of the symbolic analysis.
摘要:The information-combination mapping is mainly investigated based on a parallel combinatory DS/SS communication system.It’s shown that the effect of this mapping on the system is not negligible and.an easily operated method called"graph matching″to get the suboptimal mapping is presented.Computer simulation results demonstrate that it’s important to optimize the mapping,and the mapping determined with the proposed method is good enough.By a comparison of several DS/SS communication schemes,it can be found that this parallel combinatory DS/SS communication system has higher efficiency and lower complexity relatively.
摘要:One of the important means to improve the performance of spread spectrum communication system is to combine error-correcting with spread-spectrum.In this paper,we discuss the advantages of applying TCM to the orthogonal code spread spectrum systems,which increase the minimum free Euclidean distance between the transmitted sequences by expanding and partitioning of the signal sets.Analysis and computer simulation show that the performance of the system in the channel with additive white Gaussian noise and multiple-access interference is markedly improved.
摘要:This paper proposes an algorithm for extracting the pose and velocity of the moving objects and the 3-D location of interest points in the external environments,based on the image plane trajectories of salient points over the image sequence.These trajectories are related to the parameters to be estimated using motion model and imaging model,making it possible to incorporate the information contained in long image sequences and to estimate unknown motion and structure parameters using an IEKF.
摘要:In this paper a simple passive nonlinear delay locked protection circuit is proposed.It posseses all the functions of counter delay locked protection circuit which consists of complex digital logical circuit.Besides,in some cases it’s better than the latter such as in circumstance using rc-lowpass circuit to replace the integrate-dump circuit.The performance of passive nonlinear delay locked protection circuit is analyzed. The mean and variance of locked hold time are given under the conditions of both ideal integration and rc-lowpass circuit correlation processing.

摘要:Based on in-depth analysis of knowledge storing mode of neural networks,the inadequacy of current storing mode is pinpointed.That is to say,despite its definite intelligent processing capability.the neural neiwork made up of large numbers of neurons with simple processing capability but without complicated processing capability is bound to have such drawbacks as local minimum,slow converging rate and insufficient capability of being popularized.In particular,it can hardly be applied to real-time processing systenis,which greatly limits its range of application.To remedy such a situation,a new intelligent neuron model is proposed and compared with neuron models in common use.It is pointed out in a subsequent paper entitled "Generalized Information Storing Principle and Higher-Order Generalized Neural Networks" that the algorithm based on the intelligent neuron model can raise the converging rate of the conventional BP algorithm more than 1,000 times.

摘要:Lateral inhibition described by Bubble function is a very common mechanism in living creature vision information processing system.In this paper,we use Bubble function as wavelet base and Gaussian function as smooth function to decompose signal using Mallat algorithm and the position of maximum decomposition value is just the position of edges.This algorithm has different ability to reduce noise and to extract edges according to different scales of Bubble function.When the scale of Bubble function is growing wide,then the ability of reducing noise increases and the ability of extracting detail edges decreases;otherwise,the ability of reducing noise decreases and the ability of extracting detail edge increases. Both the theory and experiment manifest that this algorithm is very efficient and practical.

摘要:This paper introduces an estimating method for contour-based optical flow field in ultrasound B-scan images.It is a matching algorithm of boundary cluster centers.The paper also shows the experimental result that optical flow field of heart constructions is detected by this algorithm.
