摘要:This work presents a new video traffic prediction scheme by using Recurrent Neural Network (RNN).Our simulation demonstrates that this predictor is very efficient and practically feasible.
摘要:It is known that the shortest path problem with one or more constraints is NP complete.The paper proposes an improved multi label routing algorithm for ATM networks,which can find an approximate optimal path subject to multiple constraints with arbitrary accuracy in polynomial time scale.For the experimental network of 200 nodes,the numerical results show that the algorithmic loops are reduced to about 1/3 of the original multi label algorithm.
摘要:In this paper,a new leaky bucket (LB) scheme based on dynamic buffer thresholds is presented,of which the buffer thresholds change with the leaky rate.By an embedded Markov process,we obtain the limiting distribution of the system’s state at an embedded point and at an arbitrary time when using Markov modulated Poisson procedss(MMPP) as an input traffic.So cell loss probability and mean cell delay and effective bandwidth occupancy are easily obtained.Numerical result shows our scheme has lower cell loss probability and lower mean cell delay than those of other LB schemes,and significantly needs less bandwidth resource.
摘要:This paper,based on the Universal Approximation Theory of Fuzzy system,presents a fuzzy traffic predictor using nearest neighborhood clustering learning algorithm.Its prediction effect is examined through autoregressive (AR) process and real video traffic.The results show that the approximator/predictor is accurate and flexible.At last,the applications of the predictor in dynamic bandwidth allocation is discussed.

摘要:The characteristics of virtual connection blocking of large scale Clos type ATM switching fabrics are studied.Firstly,the basic properties of Clos type ATM switching fabrics with virtual connection routing are described,and then its strictly nonblocking condition of traditional Clos type ATM switching fabrics is deduced.Finally,the disadvantages of traditional Clos type ATM switching fabrics are pointed out,and the concept“internal links partitioning”is proposed while the strictly nonblocking condition of the Clos type ATM switching fabrics with internal links partitioning structure is also deduced.
摘要:According to the requirements of echo cancellation in the short wave access network,this paper adopts LS based FTF algorithms,applies the estimation method to it and proposes a new architecture of adaptive echo cancellation.The theorectical analysis and simulation results show that the adaptive echo cancellation has fast convergence,small steady state error and robust performances.

摘要:kb/s Finite State Algebraic Code Excited Linear Prediction (FS ACELP) is a high quality speech coding algorithm which has shorter time delay and low calculation burden.For line spectrum pairs,this algorithm uses a highly efficient split vector quantizer based on intra frame and inter frame correlations.For adaptive codebook searching,it uses a finite state fractional delay adaptive codebook which has low calculation complexity and high performence.This algorithm also uses a state controled multimode algebraic codebook and a predictive vector quantizer for gains to further improve the quality of synthesized speech.The non formal tests show that the speech quality of 4kb/s FS ACELP is better than that of IS 54 8kb/s VSELP and close to that of G.729 8kb/s CS ACELP,while the MOS score is about 3 9.

摘要:In image processing and video image compression,it is important to estimate the displacement between deformed image and its template.In this paper,we discuss some related methods and introduce an elastic matching,which is an image gradient based approach.First,a new quadratic error functional is proposed.The functional consists of two terms:one is matching error;the other is a smoothness constraint.Being different from Horn and Schunck’ optical flow method,the matching errors and smoothness constraint are explicitly defined on the displacement vector field instead of “flow field”.The functional by variational calculus leads to a set of elliptic partial differential equations,in particular,Poisson equations,which is possibly solved by numerical methods.Using finite difference method,our algorithm is effective for matching deformed image planes.It quickly converges to good estimates of displacement vector field,and is insensitive to additive noise.
摘要:Based on the definition of fuzzy segmentation and fuzzy segmentation subsets.A new Kohonen clustering network with fuzzy selective multiresolution is proposed to address the problems in original networks with selective multire solution such as sample subsets incompletion and error transferring from one level to the next.In order to provide the new algorithm with generality,this paper considers Kohonen clustering networks as speciality of clustering segmentation algorithms and defines concepts and algorithms about them from the point of set theory.The new network is applied to intensity image segmentation and the effectiveness is demonstrated by experiments.
摘要:A new effective multi thresholds image segmentation method based on Fuzzy Restrainted Histogram FCM Clustering is presented,which is characterized by its good partition peculiarity,low computing cost and strong robustness.The analysis of its optimal partition function is given,and how to adaptively detemine segmentation class number is discussed.Finally,four experiments have been given with satisfactory results.
摘要:In this paper,the fast implementation of an arbitrary length linear phase cosine modulated filter bank is investigated.By using the prototype filter symmetry of the filter bank,we obtain a more efficient implementation structure in which 2×2 lossless lattices are used instead of 2×1 ones in the traditional implementation.The total number of the two channel lossless lattices is reduced by half.The implementation cost is saved significantly,especially for the case with large ratio of the length to the number of channels.
摘要:In this paper,we propose a cross reference method of nonlinear time series analyzing.It combines the tasks of system modeling,parameter estimation and noise reduction that were usually performed separately before.Because of the positive interaction between the iterative algorithms for each task,improved prerformance can be obtained.We also develop an iterative cross reference algorithm for chaotic time series analysis based on this method.Simulations show improved results.By selecting different criteria,variations of the algorithm can be obtained.

摘要:The stability of a closed loop single stage Power Factor Correction(PFC) intergrated converter with a DCM input part is analyzed.The criterion by which the output voltage can be maintained within the desired range by Pulse WidthModulation(PWM) is obtained.The input voltage range and the load current range are also discussed.A PFC DCM boost buck converter is investgated as an example.The analysis is proved by experimental results.

摘要:A new type of interference cancellation multiuser receiver with pilot symbol aided coherent demodulation method is proposed and analyzed.According to our theoretical analysis and numerical analysis,the multiuser access interference is canceled out from the baseband received signal.This new method makes full use of the frame structure of WCDMA,without adding new pilot channel,the coherent demodulation can be obtained and it is integrated with the multiuser receiver.The theoretical analysies also prove that this method can improve the system performance greatly.The results also demonstrate that substantial capacity improvements can be obtained with successive interference canceller whose stage is 2.
摘要:In this paper relaxation matching is investigated as a technique for matching map features to features in the SAR images.A method that applies wavelet transform to extract a number of feature points as a basis for matching and makes the Hopfield neural network perform the mutual feature point relaxation matching process is proposed.In such a way,the image matching by the relaxation process can be realized in real time since the Hopfield model net can be implemented by VLSI.The experimental result has showed that our approach is more efficient and has higher matching probability than usual approaches based on gray level and edges,such as MAD (Mean Absolute Difference) algorithm.

摘要:In this paper we study dynamic behaviour of generalized cellular neural networks.First we estabilish a necessary and sufficient condition ensuring existence and uniqueness of the equilibrium for the generalized cellular neural networks with delay using the degree theory.Then new conditions which guarantee the global exponential stability of the equilibrium for the generalized cellular neural networks with delay are given.

摘要:In this paper,a novel structure variable radial basis function networks (SVRBF networks) is proposed,whose hidden layer nodes can be modified on line,and Evolutionary Computation (EC) is used to optimally determine and modify the total number of hidden layer nodes and their core function’s center and width of the SVRBF networks.The SVRBF networks are then used for passive sonar target classification and learning on line,and the result of experiment shows that the EC based SVRBF networks have better generalization performance than k means based RBF nets,and are effective in solving the problem of forgetting the old patterns in on line learning which exists in passive sonar target recognition by using conventional neural networks.

摘要:A novel neural network is presented for solving multiobjective dynamic programming problems.The proposed neural network is proven to be Lyapunov stable and capable of generating noninferior solutions to the multiobjective dynamic programming problems.The asymptotic properties of the neural network are analyzed and the conditions for asymptotic stability,solution feasibility,and solution optimality are derived.The transient behavior of the neural network is simulated and the validity of the network is verified with numerical examples and case studies.

摘要:The maximum likelihood decoding metrics without and with channel state information are derived over Rice Lognormal fading channel.The pairwise error probability is compared with conventional Euclidean distance metrics.The numerical results show that :for TC MPSK signal,the effect of Channel fading characteristics (f DT) on metric performance is negligible.The minimum interleaving length required to optimize code performance over Rice Lognormal fading channel is also discussed.
摘要:A payment system by smart card proposed by S.Brands is improved,and an anonymity revoking electronic payment system is presented.On the one hand,customer’s privacy cannot be compromised by the bank or by the payee.On the other hand,the anonymity can be removed by a trusted third party (trustee) with the help of bank.In this case,the third party can link a payment with corresponding withdrawal and prevent money laundering and black mailing.
摘要:The two new circuits used in decoding of RS codes in GF(2 m) are devised in this paper,i.e.the Bit Serial Sequences Multiplication Circuits and the Bit Serial Multiplication Accumulation Circuit in conventional basis.On the whole m AND gates are substituted for the complex multiplier with two arbitrary multipliers,thus the complexity of decoding circuit is greatly reduced.As an example,the erasures and errors decoding circuits in every step of RS codes made of them are illustrated in detail.The two new circuits are very practical in application and extension of RS codes with good performance.

摘要:A fast optimal algorithm is presented for computing the free distance of convolutional codes.The designation of a fast algorithm is based on the good combination of Genetic Algorithm with Simulated Annealing.With the advantageous properties of higher speed and better quality,this algorithm can avoid the phenomena of bluntness and blindness which have occurred in paper [1].A comparison is made by simulation to show these better performances than those in [1].
摘要:In this paper,a multiuser spatial signature estimation algorithm is presented and applied to implementing space division multiple access in smart antenna systems.The algorithm constructs a new matrix called spatial signature matrix in cumulant domain,and estimates multiuser spatial signature through eigen decomposition of spatial signature matrix.Based on spatial signature estimation,uplink spatial filter bank is designed to implement uplink multiuser signal separation.Computer simulation shows that the response of the spatial filters can be used to direction of arrival estimation for multiple correlated signals,thus provide basis for implementing downlink selective transmission in a FDD system.

摘要:A fully new traffic assignment strategy in ATM networks,the link equilibrium strategy,is proposed,which introduces the equilibrium thinking into traffic assingning.Consequently,the optimal assignment of traffic in networks can be achieved by using the equilbrium between requirements and resistances.We introduce the concept of the link equilibrium strategy and its mathematical programming model in detail.The work in the paper provides new thinking and methods for the study on traffic assignment in ATM networks.

摘要:Power control in CDMA cellular system is discussed in this paper.Consideration on power control error(PCE) and selection of power control source are taken into account.In the previous analyses,distance based selection on power control source was assumed for simplification.This paper considers pilot power based selection under practical environment and makes comparison between these two methods.Numerical results show that the latter method improves the system capacity.

摘要:QAM(Quadrature Amplitude Modulation) and 64QAM schems with unequal error protection(UEP) that are designed using trellis coded modulation (TCM) are proposed in this paper.Compared to conventional uniformly spaced MQAM,the important data can obtain 9 54~11 46 dB of asympotic coding gain,with negligible advantage for the less important data.Multiresolution broadcasting techique is adopted by European terrestrial digital TV standard.UEP 16QAM and UEP 64QAM for application in terrestrial broadcasting system of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) digital TV are also investigated in this paper.

摘要:To meet the needs of embedded application,this paper describes NRS FPU(Northwestern Polytechnical University RISC System′s Floating Point Unit)thoroughly.Our discussions in this paper centre on NRS FPU system architecture,basic arithmetic operation and transcendental function operation algorithms.NRS FPU is designed by a very popular way —— TOP DOWN and with RISC idea.Since add and shift are two basic operations in arithmetic circuits,many algorithms based on them are conceived to implement complex arithmetic functions in this paper.Finally,it is shown that NRS FPU is much suitable for embedded application due to its small area and high speed from its layout.

摘要:The algorithm divides complex dynamic circuit into some linear subcircuits and also linear and nonlinear link branchs for solving practical dynamic process of the original circuit according to the free dynamic process of the sub circuits in the arbitrarily long period of time.The paper has built the dynamic equivalent model and approximately equivalent model which may be obtained by analyzing or measuring these sub circits.
摘要:In very small MOSFET,distribution effects are strong due to high strength and large change of its electric field as well as its larger drain section.Therefore,distribution models are required to describe much accurately the gate currents.In this paper,the distribution models of electron and hole gate currents in NMOSFET are built by using of “lucky electron” concept and the two dimensional distribution models models of drain and substrate currents proposed by us.the distribution model of hole gate current is based on new process of hot hole injection in which holes are accelerated by the minus vertical electric field.The proposed distribution models can describe clearly injection processes of hot carriers,which is useful for the modeling of damage distrbution,damage growth and damage saturation of MOSFET’s hot carrier degradation.

摘要:Cross entropy measures information discrepancy between two probability distributions.Induced by cross entropy,fuzzy divergence measures dissimilarity between two fuzzy sets,as fruit of both information theory and fuzzy set theory,In this paper,in the light of different criteria we present four new algorithms of optimal gray scale threshold selection for image segmentation,integrating cross entropy and fuzzy divergence with image histogram.The first algorithm is based on minimum cross entropy with the hypothesis of uniform probability distribution. The second algorithm maximizes between classcross entropy using posterior probability.The third one is a modified version of existing method based on maximum betweenclass fuzzy divergence.The last one is a minimum fuzzy divergence algorithm.According to the requirement of image thresholding,we construct a new fuzzy membership function in the last two algorithms.The effectiveness and generality of our new algorithms are shown by applying them to various test images and by evaluating the results with uniformity measure and shape measure.

摘要:In this paper,we use a model checker for authentication protocol,due to Marrero,Edmund,and Jha,to detect errors in the improved TMN protocol [1] .We show how to model the TMN protocol,by the MCJ mode,which is used to test if the intrude can successfully attack the protocol,and find out two kind of new flaws which were not found by the CSP method.Finally,we give an improved TMN protocol.
摘要:There are square root computations in conventional QR decomposition.When realized with digital circuits,it takes much area and long period.Hence,there have been some square root free QRD algorithms.These algorithms can avoid square root computations,but when mapped to systolic array to realize RLS algorithm,they can not pipeline the computations within a cell.This paper presents a novel squarre root free QRD algorithm that can pipeline operations within a cell and further increase the speed of the algorithm.

摘要:On the basis of experiments,the experimental results of the latching ferrite variable polarizer loading with suitable dielectric in circular waveguide have been given in this paper.It has shown that the dielectric loading in the ferrite ring has increased the phase shift of the variable polarizer,while the insertion loss has no obvious change.Clearly,the research is very useful for us to improve the characteristics of the variable polarizer.
