摘要:The fusion scores calculated by the traditional product rule for multimodal information fusion have a narrow dynamic range,thus the fusion performance of this method is usually not ideal.Under the assumption that all the modes can work properly at the same time,this paper introduces the improved product rule for multimodal information fusion.The basic idea is to increase the dynamic range of fusion scores by smoothing the probability densities and fusion scores.Two experiments have shown that the recognition rate based on the improved product rule is increased.Finally,this paper presents a method for calculating the upper bound of recognition rate of the integrated system by an ideal fusion approach under the given recognition rate of each mode.

摘要:This paper discusses a new type of neural network called EBL network (example based learning network) and how to apply it to fault diagnosis.The research results have shown that the EBL pattern clustering system can learn and accumulate knowledge from each example.Moreover both the results of the pattern recognition and the information of the clusters stored in the system can be given.The EBL pattern clustering system is suitable for fault diagnosis with real time demand.
摘要:In detection of signals,detection of jump points and impulse points are more important.In this paper,we find out the jump points and impulse points of the signal.We can regard the one dimensional signal as ordered samples,to classify the signal by jump points.In every classification,We derive a polynomial predictor,namely left prediction and right prediction,to attenuate white noise and impulase noise.The method can retain the signal jump phenomenon effectively.

摘要:Face localization is an important basis for automatic human face recognition.In this paper we defined one kind of symmetry transform called Directional Symmetry Transform (DST),which can provide more information about objects’ shape besides symmetry.Based on it we presented one fast algorithm for eye location.Experimental results proved that better accuracy and shorter computing time can be obtained by using DST than using Generalized Symmetry Transfrom.

摘要:Deslauriers dubuc wavelets is a family of interpolating wavelets which are widely used,and their drawback lies in much redundancy.General interpolating wavelets that are flexible in design are their generalization.This paper studies the properties,optimal design criteria and methods of generalized interpolating wavelets.Finally,compression of real signals shows that the optimal interpolating wavelets possess good performance.
摘要:Based on the idea of principal component analysis and factor analysis,the principal component factor statistical model for IC device model parameters is presented,and the method of the principal component factor analysis and the procedure of the model established are given.At last,the feasibility and validity of the method by an example of circuit analysis is verfied.The statistic model is suited to statistical optimal design of IC.
摘要:A general purpose programmable fuzzy logic controller implemented by analog hardware is presented.The controller allowed two premises.one conclusion,and 81 control rules.It was constructed with current mode multiple valued CMOS devices which were fabricated in a 2 μm standard CMOS technology.All the fuzzy inference are processed in parallel,and the highest speed is 1 mega per second.With convenient I/O interface and reprogrammable rules.
摘要:Careful calibration of IC process simulator SSUPREM4 is made in this paper.We simulate oxidation and diffusion by SSUPREM4.The simulated values are compared with the measured values,and the relative deviation between them is within 10%.We also calibrate the simulated results of full process by SSUPREM4 together with device simulator S PISCES.The calibrated results have some values for references.
摘要:One concurrent error detection design is proposed for discrete cosine transform,and based on it an improved design is presented.DCT is realized by butterfly architecture of B.G.Lee fast algorithm,and algorithm based fault tolerance is used for CED.The proposed design allows 100% throughput and high fault coverage with a very low increment of hardware coverage.For this scheme,we analyze its fault coverage and the conclusion is provided.

摘要:A current controlled conveyor (CCCⅡ) architecture based on CMOS process is presented in this paper.Its behavior and performance are analyzed in detail.Because of its simple topology,it fits for higher frequency applications.Simulation results of its application in a tunable high IF amplifier and a continuous time ∑ΔADC are given.
摘要:A new method for the transient analysis of transmission lines using the Chebyshev expansion based NILT is presented in this paper.The straightforward application of the method results in significant computational errors.The reason for this is investigated and two techniques to reduce the errors,one is the smoothing of the Chebyshev approximation by the use of the Lanczos factor,and the other the resetting of the NILT,are proposed.Illustrative examples are given and the results show that the method is more efficient than the previous convolution as well as NILT based approaches.

摘要:In this paper,we study the performance of input buffered ATM switching with window access scheme and output grouping architecture.The close form formulae of maximum switch throughput,mean cell delay and cell loss probability are obtained by probability generating function approach.The accuracy of theoretical analysis is verified by computer simulations and results show that the maximum switching throughput will reach 99% under random uniform traffic when the window size and the group size are 4 and 16 respectively.
摘要:Inheritance is one of the important features of object oriented programming.The explanation of inheritance is always a challenge to the research on formal semantics of object oriented program.In this paper,the denotational semantics of subtyping,a kind of forms of inheritance which describes the inheritance relationship between behavioral specifications of objects,is presented.The basic idea is to view subtyping as type coercion,explaining the objects of subtype into the domain of its supertype by a type coercion function.

摘要:A new constructive learning algorithm is proposed in this paper.By allowing to add one subnet each time to existing network during the course of training,it can automatically divide a complex task into a series of subtasks which are processed by their corresponding subnets.The divide and conquer strategy can arrive at a solution to a given task.Its strength lies in its automatic decompostion of given task and its modular training of network.Each of them leads to a great reduction of optimal search effort and an improved training.The simulation result shows that it not only achieves a better perfomance than BP network on two spiral classification problem,but also achieves a better perfomance than Cascade Correlation Learning Network in generalization ability.

摘要:In this paper,an approximate formula for image transformation is proposed.The formula referred to as a Regular Transformation(RT) is derived from a convolution sum with a locally supported and infinitely differentiable kernel.According to the law of least squares,a RT based fast adaptive filter with the underralaxation iterative scheme is developed.For a N×N image,the computational complexity of the filtering algorithm is O(N 2) ,which is significantly better than O(N 3 ) of the fixed point iterative method for handling LS problem and O( N 2 log N ) of both the preconditioned conjugate gradient iterative algorithm and wavelet transform based denoising algorithms.Consequently,the filter may be used in computer vision and real time signal processing.The numerical results show that the filter is suitable for the reduction of both Gaussian noise and noise with uniform distribution.
摘要:A new wide Field of View acquisition approach is presented,based on the multiple transmission peak characteristic of FADOF.In this way,the bandwidth of FADOF can be reduced,thus the reduction of acquisition time after realizing Wide Field of View Acquisition,and the Doppler frequency shift between satellites can be accommodated.The relationship between FADOF’s bandwidth and Field of View,beacon divergence,and maximum acquisition time in this wide FOV acquisition system is also treated in this paper.

摘要:This paper describes state estimation techniques for multilevel multisensor surveillance systems.Based on the single sensor Kalman filtering equations,two level centralized and distributed estimation solutions,this paper presents the three level centralized estimation algorithms for hierarchical multisensor tracking systems in multicoordinates systems.In the difference Cartesian coordinates,several kinds of track level fusion methods for three level multisensor data fusion sytems are proposed,in which both centralized distributed amd distributed distributed estimation combination problems are considered.It is shown that the opimality can be guaranteed under some communication requirements from the fusion center to the local nodes or the local nodes to the sensors.In addition,the austere solutions for hierarchical estimates in multilevel multisensor systems are given.
摘要:The serial corner feeding of a square patch with two ports is proposed to realized the dual polarized microstrip antenna.A novel coplanar dual polarized feedline network is designed for the array.A method of analysis is developed,which is based on the combination of multiport network model,cavity theory and segmentation technique.The one port and two port antenna elements and the dual polarized array are studied in order.A single layer microstrip array at 6GHz band is designed and manufactured.Its measured isolation reaches -41dB,which is much better than that of the single layer dual polarized arrays commonly used.The present array module is of simple structure,small feedline network and is easy to be further combined to form larger dual polarized antenna arrays.

摘要:In this paper,the analytical performance bound of TC MDPSK is presented over mobile satellite channels.The new performance bound is derived based on the two statistical models of Rice Lognormal combinative distribution,and the bit error probability of 8U TC MDPSK schemes is computed.The simulation shows that performance bounds derived in this paper are simple and are tighter than those available,which is in agreement with the characteristic of practical mobile satellite channels on TC MDPSK.

摘要:kb/s Finite State Algebraic Code Excited Linear Prediction (FS ACELP) is a high quality speech coding algorithm which has shorter time delay and low calculation burden.For line spectrum pairs,this algorithm uses a high efficient split vector quantizer based on intra frame and inter frame correlations.For adaptive codebook searching,it uses a finite state fractional delay adaptive codebook which has low calculation complexity and high performance.This algorithm also uses a state controled multimode algebraic codebook and a predictive vector quantizer for gains to further improve the quality of synthesized speech.The non formal tests show that the speech quality of 4kb/s FS ACELP is much better than that of IS 54 8kb/s VSELP and near to that of G.729 8kb/s CS ACELP while the MOS score is about 3.9.
摘要:This paper presents an approach of forming high accuracy quasi circular structure elements which combines quasi circular structure elements formed with the dilation of the shortest line structure elements and those dilated with an unit structure element sequentially,which does not only to assure the high accuracy of quasi circular structure elements,but also save the related morphological computation greatly.We deduced the compatibility formulas under translation of the structure element and the conditions of satisfying the convex property of the quasi circular structure element,and proposed a fast algorithm of forming quasi circular structure elements sequentially.The quasi circular structure elements with radius from 0 to 59 are formed,whose absolute radius errors are less than 0 5.Finally,the optimal morphological skeleton algorithm are presented and exercised on 128×128 test image with time less ls on Pentium 166M PC.

摘要:Two problems usually need to be dealt properly in edge detection:the conflict between the detection and localization goals at one scale,and the integration of edges at all different scales.An efficient way is to use multiscale MRF models.Edge position can be precisely localized due to the introduction of a line process,and edges at all different scales can be integrated by using any proper function of the line process.In this paper,a deterministic system of equations is deduced by applying GBF inequality to approximate the mean field,which explicitly expresses the interaction between edges and the influence of model parameters on edge detection results,and can be solved with less computational time.Experimental results by applying the algorithm to a few real images are also given.

摘要:In this paper the principle and the conventional algorithms of Digital Particle Image Velocimetry (DPIV) are summarized firstly,then the advantages and disadvantages of these algorithms are analyzed in detail.In order to overcome these defaults a new idea named model based consecutive motion vector estimation algorithm is proposed.The new algorithm fully employs the global information of sequential gray images and the physics property of flow field to get the precise velocity vector at each pixel.
摘要:In this paper an adaptive learning algorithm for B spline networks is presented,in which the number of B spline functions in the hidden layer is automatically determined from the information contained in training pairs and both weights and interior knot positions corresponding to the non zero B spline basis functions are iteratively adjusted by the gradient descent rule.Computer simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is more efficient and feasible than the existing learning algorithm used in B spline networks.

摘要:The multidimensional FFT algorithm sampling on arbitrary lattices is widely used in remote sensing and measurement,television image signal processing and antenna design.In this correspondence,we study the algorithm structure of multidimensional FFT algorithm sampling on arbitrary lattices and present an iterative equation extended from its 1D and 2D counterparts.This equation simplifies the description and application of multidimensional FFT algorithms.
摘要:This paper proposes a very effective peak to average power ratio reduction scheme for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) systems by optimum summing of circular shifting of partial transmit sequences.Compared with the old method based on optimum combination of partial transmit sequences,the new method achieves the better performance in different degree for different OFDM systems under the same conditions.So the new method can be used to replace the old one in practice at all.

摘要:While an intensely relativistic electron beam is going across a series of equi potential conductors (such as foils or meshes) with the same space interval,because of the space charge effect,a periodical static electric field should be formed.This strong electric field will cause the electron beam to bunch in the traveling direction.In this paper,the analysis and PIC simulation for this mechanism are given.Based on this mechanism,a new type high power microwave source is suggested.

摘要:In this paper,an analysis of the performance of the ML method of directions of arrival estimation is carried out,in the case where estimated number of signals is different from the real signal number.An asymptotic distribution of the estimation is derived,from which the analytic expressions of asymptotic estimation variance are given.The results expected by the theory are in satisfactory agreement with the computer simulation.

摘要:A novel ZVS ac dc converter with power factor correction (PFC) function is presented in this paper.The proposed converter is based on a Boost circuit in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) with the introduction of zero voltage switching (ZVS).Therefore,the large turnoff loss and serious EMI due to DCM are greatly reduced.The loss caused by the intrinsic capacitor of MOSFET is eliminated as well.The new converter can be regulated in pulse width modulation (PWM) by universal integrated control circuits.Basic principle and design considerations are discussed.The feasibility of the converter is verified by simulation and experimental results.
摘要:A new method for judging ohmic contact quality of metal/thin semiconductor layer,circular transmission line model extrapolation method in the ring,is developed.The mesa isolation is omitted,thus simplifying sample preparation.Because all the measurements are located in the ring,there is no need to consider the effects of any boundary out side the ring.Lateral current crowding effect are completely eliminated because of the symmetrical construction of the disc and concentric ring.The straight line is fitted by measurement values,so a part of accidental error can be eliminated,and the accuracy is improved.

摘要:A general method of fuzzy modeling based on an accelerated evolutionary programming is proposed.The fuzzy clustering produces fuzzy structure space of system.The parameters of fuzzy model are tuned by the accelerated evolutionary programming with a direction factor.The numerical example is studied with satisfactory result.

摘要:The model for MH lamps and the controlling approaches for its electronic ballasts have been studied.The main contributions are as the following;(1) A piece wise-linear model for MH lamps has been proposed;(2)A new special controlling rule of the ballast to match the MH lamps properties has been given out.These theories and approaches have been proved by the results of the experiments given in this paper.
摘要:A novel model based on layers structure for fiber gratings is presented in this paper.It is simple and convenient to use in calculating wavelength responsibility of fiber gratings.This model accords with couple mode theory and experiment well.Step chirped fiber gratings are also studied here.We find that π/2 phase shift between sections will do harm to the reflectivity spectrum.

摘要:The Silicon refractive microlens arrays coupled with a large area PtSi IRCCD of 128×128 is fabricated by photolithographys and Ar ion beam etching.The filling factor of the micro optics components fabricated is more than 95%.The focal length of the rectangular arch microlens is about 80μm.The microstructure of the Si microlens arrays is analyzed by the scanning electron microscope and the surface style measurement.
摘要:A magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) simulation method,together with corresponding image restoration algorithms,under a field with large inhomogeneities has been presented in this paper.This technique is applicable to direct Fourier MRI.The error field distribution is arbitrary.Computer simulation demonstrates the effectiveness of this technique for both Fourier zeugmatography and spin warp imaging with an inhomogeneous field.
