      摘要:In this paper the effect of feed array configuration in satellite multiple beam antennas on pattern synthesis has been investigated. First it is proved that some redundant feeds which have no contribution to pattern synthesis exist in regular configuration feed array,such as hexagonal grid array. Then a type of irregular configuration feed array with no redundant feed is proposed to reduce the number of array feeds and proved to have the same performance in pattern synthesis as the regular one. In the end a very simple and effective method is presented to derive the configuration of irregular feed array from its regular counterpart.

      摘要:Considering the complexity of solution for the problem of electromagnetic shielding by using the precise boundary condition,in order to simplify analysis and calculation of the boundary-value problem of electromagnetic shielding,averaged boundary condition on a moving thin conducting shell is derived out by using approximation of locally plane wave.General vector expressions of the averaged boundary condition are given.Its applied limit is investigated by computer simulation and the result shows that the precise boundary condition of electromagnetic field can be replaced by the averaged boundary condition in this paper.

      摘要:A 4×10Gbit/s OTDM communication experimental system using the stabilized actively mode-locked fiber laser as the emission source,the OEO as the frame clock extractor and EA modulator as the demultiplexer is reported.The 40Gbit/s data signal transmission through 330km SMF by dispersion compensation is successfully achieved.

    • Channel Capacity Comparison of Several Multiple Antennas Systems

      摘要:Distributed antenna,smart antenna and sector antenna are three techniques to improve the system capacity in wireless communication.In this paper,we compare the channel/Shannon capacity of multiple antennas in the three cases.Assuming the average received signal power in total antennas from each user is the same,we get that distributed antenna and sector antenna have much larger Shannon capacity than smart antenna.This is in contrast with that smart antenna has a better performance than sector antenna in suppressing interference,which results in an improvement in system capacity.We also analyze the capacity of distributed antenna in unlimited case,that is,with large number of users K and large number antennas M while keeping the number of users per dimension α constant.Analysis show that in case of large α,α1,the capacity of distributed antenna approaches to that of sector antenna with a constant addition 0.44bit/s/Hz/Dim.It should be noted that if diversity gain by distributed antenna is considered,its capacity is still much larger than that of sector antenna.

      摘要:In general,the analysis methods of paraboloidal reflector antenna use geometrical-optics and physical-optics.The preferable numerical results will be obtained by using these two methods for electrically large paraboloidal reflector antenna.For electrically small radiator,the numerical results are not in agreement with experimental results,because the feed pattern are not only determined by feed radiator but also feed structures.In this paper,the finite-difference time-domain method (FDTD) is used to analyze the feed of paraboloidal reflector antenna,and because the computing areas include all the feed structure,we can obtain the precise near fields of the feed.The currents on the paraboloidal reflector can be calculated by using equivalence principle,and then we can calculate far fields of paraboloidal reflector antenna using physical optics.Using this hybrid method,the millimeter wave paraboloidal reflector antenna with waveguide slot feed is analyzed in this paper.Numerical results are compared with the experimental results,and the comparison shows excellent agreement over a wide angle.

      摘要:The asymptotic waveform evaluation (AWE) technique is applied to the method of moments for computing the radar cross section (RCS) of three-dimensional perfect electric conductor over a frequency band and the monostatic RCS pattern.The method of moments is used to solve the electric field integral equation,and the surface electric current density at a given frequency and incident angle can be determined.Using the AWE technique,the surface current on the perfect electric conductor can be obtained at any frequency within a frequency range and any incident angle within an angular range,respectively,which is used to compute the wide-band RCS and the monostatic RCS pattern.The numerical results are in good agreement with the results achieved by the method of moments at each frequency or any incident angle,while the computational efficiency is considerably improved.

      摘要:A study of a broadband matching network for a VHF/UHF antenna is made. First, a new optimal-designing approach is presented, which combines the genetic algorithm (GA) and the simulating annealing method (SA). Second, the problem due to the variation of value of a lumped component in VHF/UHF frequency band is solved. Finally, based on the above method, a broadband matching network for an omnidirectional broadband miniature antenna, with VSWR<3.0 in 30~450MHz,is designed and manufactured, and the calculated results are in good agreements with the experimental results.

      摘要:In this paper,an efficient table look-up method is proposed by using the relationship among bit-error-rate,bits and signal-to-noise.Considering the aggregate spectral density of all the channel impairments,the channel attenuation and the constraint of power spectral density to the maximum bit rates of subchannels,a bit loading and power allocation algorithm is proposed for DMT-based multicarrier communication system.During initialization,the proposed algorithm enables the system with optimal power allocation and bit loading within all constraints.The proposed algorithm converges faster to the optimal solution than some of the existing techniques because of more efficient computation.The system performance margin is improved by the constraint of power spectral density to the maximum bit rates of subchannels.For tracking scenarios,the proposed algorithm makes the system with ability of fast adaptive bit swap without additional system hardware.

    • Preparation and Optics Characteristics of Nanocrystalline TiO2 Powders

      摘要:Nanocrystalline TiO2 powders(average grain-size of 22nm) were prepared by the sol-gel process.The structure of the powders at different annealing temperatures was studied by XRD.Using IR and UV-VIS spectroscopy, the optics-characteristics of the powders have been researched.The result showed with the transformation of crystal style,the optics-characteristics of the powders annealing at different temperatures have remarkable variation.Compared with raw crystal TiO2,the IR absorbing sides of the nanocrystalline TiO2 powders shift to both lower frequencies and higher frequencies,and with the grain-size becomes small,the UV-VIS absorbing sides shift to lower frequencies,showing the quantum size effect.

      摘要:A mode-matching method is used to accurately analyze the quasi-TEm0 mode in ferrite slabs symmetrically loaded ridged and grooved waveguides.Numerical results are identical to those in the references.Further computation indicates that the ferrite slabs loaded ridged waveguide has broadband frequency properties and the grooved waveguide has greater differential phase shift.With higher modes considered,this method is superior to those in literatures published in recent years.

      摘要:A novel hybrid technique is presented for the evaluation of electromagnetic scattering by electrically large bodies with cracks and cavities on their surfaces.This technique employs the edge-based finite-element method (FEM) to compute the scattering from the cracks and cavities,and PO and PTD to compute the scattering from the large bodies with the cracks and cavities filled with perfect conductors.A coupling scheme is then developed to combine these two methods.A set of numerical results is presented,demonstrating the accuracy,efficiency,and capability of the technique.As practical uses of the hybrid technique,a number of original results are then presented.It is shown that the hybrid technique has some advantages over other methods in regard to saving computer memory units and CPU time.

      摘要:By combining the model-based analysis for dynamic systems with multiscale signal transformation,we propose a new multiscale dynamic model based on dynamic system with single model and single sensor at one given scale.By developing Kalman filtering we put froward a new multiscale algorithm for stochastic signal on the basis of the multiscale dynamic model,and we can simultaneously implement decomposition and estimation for stochastic signal.The estimates obtained by use of the new algorithm is more accurate than the results based on Kalman filtering at the finest scale.A set of Monte Carlo simulations is performed,and the resluts show the efficiency of our new algorithm.

    • Transient Interference Excision in OTHR

      摘要:High-frequency(HF) skywave over-the-horizon radar(OTHR) looks down its targets from the ionosphere,it has a large operating range and a large cover areas,but it also receives strong backscatterer echoes from the terrain and sea,and interference,such as radio frequency interference,industrial interference,impulsive noise,lightning impulsive,meteor trail echoes and so on.Interference can be divided into long time interference and transient interference.Transient interference lasts a short time,but its intensity is great.This paper first discusses the character of transient interference,then discusses its excision method,finally the method has been successfully applied to the real data from China experimental OTHR.The transient interference excision method is:first eigen-decomposition is used to separate the sea clutter subspace and filter it or ground clutter is filtered in frequency domain directly,then the transient interference can be detected,after that the original echoes with existing transient interference are excised,finally the excised clutter and target echoes are predicted by Burg linear prediction algorithm.

      摘要:The quality factor (Q) of 105 for laterally driven comb-shape micro-resonator can be achieved in vacuum chamber. But, Q could fall off to even much lower than 102 when the micro-resonator is exposed in atmosphere. For the sake of getting accurate evaluation of Q for the micro-resonator, the Coutte-type model and Stocks-type model were used to estimate the slide-film damping energy dissipation of micro-resonator.The results reveal that the average discrepancies have been reduced to below 7%.And in electronics, the damping of micro-resonator is equivalent to resistance of circuit, which would influence the electrical transfer function directly. So, a lumped-parameter electrical equivalent circuit is developed.The influence of slide damping on transfer function is then studied. The result is helpful to design micro-resonator to some extent.

    • Simple CMA Beamforming for Multiple Sources and Direction Finding

      摘要:Blind adaptive beamforming is an elementary problem in the area of spatial signal processing.The constant modulus (CM) array is blind adaptive beamformer capable of recovering a CM signal among several cochannel sources by using constant modulus algorithm (CMA).By adding an adaptive signal canceller to the CM beamformer,identical stages of the CM array and signal canceller may be used in a multistage system to recover several cochannel CM sources.However,the implementation of the multistage CM array is complicated.In this paper,we will provide a simple multistage CM array to recover several cochannel signals based on least square CMA (LS-CMA).After the LS-CMA captures one signal,the DOA of the other signals could be attained from the weight vector of the algorithm,which is used for multi-source beamforming.The parallel and serial implementations for the algorithm are presented.Computer simulations show that the results of the new algorithm are close to those of Wiener's,which confirms the effectiveness of this new approach.

    • A Novel Blind Space-Time Multiuser Detector

      摘要:Multiple access interference(MAI) is a key problem in DS-CDMA.Both multiuser detection method and array antenna have been introduced to reduce the effect of MAI respectively.Many proposed multiuser detectors require system parameters and their adaptive versions require training sequences.These parameters are difficult to obtain in multipath fading channels.In this paper,a novel blind space-time multiuser detector based on the Kalman filter is proposed.With numerical simulations and performance analysis,it is shown that the detector precedes the conventional space-time 2-dimensional RAKE receiver and the space-time multiuser detector based on LMS in eliminating MAI and near-far resistance.Furthermore,it can converge rapidly.

    • Source Location Method Based on Corrected Trilinear Coordinates

      摘要:A new source location method is proposed based on the relation between the trilinear coordinates of the source and the area of basic triangle.Heron-Qinjiushao formula is used to calculate the area of triangles.The location region of the source is determined and the trilinear coordinates of the source are corrected by using the constraint on area of triangles.Simulation studies show that the presented method outperforms the traditional method by reducing the standard deviation for scenarios with large non-line-of-sight errors.

      摘要:Differential algebraic method is an effective technique in computer numerical analysis.It can exactly implement differentiation up to arbitrary high order.The principle of differential algebraic method is applied to calculate curvilinear-axis aberrations with wide beam for magnetic immersion lenses,and the differential algebraic expressions of arbitrary order aberrations are obtained.An illustrative magnetic immersion lens which has an analytic axial field distribution has been studied by using differential algebraic method of curvilinear-axis aberration analysis.All the second order and the third order geometric aberration diagrams are given.

    • The Photography Measurement of 3-Dimensional Object Based on Digital Camera

      摘要:The position of specified points on the measured object can be identified by digital camera as a kind of image sensor,which avoids the difficulties that make touching measurement fail to aim at the specific position preciously.The perspective transform between actual spatial coordinate and digital camera image plane coordinate can be achieved through two or more pieces of 2-dimensional images captured by one digital camera from different directions,which accomplishes the data acquisition of 3-dimensional object non-touch measurement in real time.Besides,a kind of method,which can pick up the coordinates of the specific points more efficiently,accurately and simply,is put forward.It is proved to be efficient and feasible by experiment.

    • An Imaging Method for Circular Ground-Penetrating Radar

      摘要:This paper presents a ground-penetrating radar (GPR) data acquisition method called circular scanning to reduce the 3-D image measuring amount.Moreover,by using angular correlation function and data fusion technique to process the experimental data,the high-resolution image of an underground object is obtained.It demonstrates that these methods can be used to improve the GPR image resolution and detection probability.

      摘要:A new method for estimating the Doppler and multipath time delay of the overlapping echoes for LFM pulse radar by only one period pulse signal is presented.First,the Doppler frequency is estimated by Wigner-Hough transform.Then,a reference signal is reconstructed using the prior knowledge of the transmitted signal and the frequency parameters.Finally,using the property that Wigner-Ville distribution can separate each echo from overlapping echoes in time-frequency plane,the multipath time delay is obtained by a so-called "the modified time-frequency correlation function" proposed in this paper.The proposed method is characterized by the stronger robustness of additive Gaussian noise and the lower computational cost.

    • Fast Convolution Backprojection Algorithm for

      摘要:In this paper,one of spotlight SAR image formation algorithms,the convolution backprojection (CBP) algorithm,is studied in detail.The subaperture method is proposed to reduce computation load.At the same time,the multiplication,the number of which is very large when using CBP,is mainly substituted by addition which can be parallelly processed using commonly used FPGA or CPLD.The method for processing high squinted angle is also presented and results got from processing raw data of DLR's E-SAR system have validated the improvements described above.

      摘要:In order to overcome the security weakness of the GSM system,this paper presents an authentication model and security protocols based on certificates.The new model introduces the CA technology of IP network into the mobile communication systems.It improves on classical PKI,distinguishes access authentication from identification,implements the 1:n relationship between keyholder and keypair,also it supports anonymous access.In addition,the feasibility of using certificate model in the mobile communication system is verified by some tests.

    • Differential Constant Modulus Algorithm with Linear Constraints

      摘要:Linear constrained constant modulus algorithm (LCCM) is an effective solution to the problem of interference capture in constant modulus algorithm (CMA).But it suffers a slow convergence speed because the target modulus value σ needs to be included in the cost function to be optimized as a parameter.In order to overcome the shortage,this paper proposes a linear constrained differential constant modulus algorithm (LCDCM),which can avoid the search for optimum σ value.For the situation of only one interference existed,this proposed algorithm converges faster and mitigates interference more deeply than LCCM algorithm when the initial σ value isn't properly set.When adaptive array operates in an environment with more than one interference,the LCDCM algorithm has much more convergence characteristic than LCCM algorithm for individual interferences cancellation even when the σ value is optimumly set.

    • A Kind of Digital Watermarking Algorithm Based on Modulo

      摘要:Digital watermarking technology is a kind of method to protect digital products.This paper proposes a new watermarking algorithm based on integer modulo.The features of presented method to embed the watermark are:①the difference between the watermarked and the original image is perceptually invisible;②using a secret key in the procession of embedding and retrieving the watermark;③the position for embedding is random and calculation procession for the position is irreversible;④retrieval of the embedded watermark does not need the original image;⑤the watermark is robust against LSB,BIT-COMPLEMENT[4] and cut attack.

    • Robust RLS Algorithm for Adaptive Arrays

      摘要:Anti-jamming communication plays an important role in electronic war.Adaptive arrays have very strong anti-jamming capability.The algorithm is the key of adaptive arrays.This paper applies the estimation method to RLS algorithm and RRLS is proposed.The theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the RRLS keeps the advantage of RLS and is superior to the latter in anti-jamming.

    • Radar Detection of Hovering Helicopter

      摘要:In this paper,the characteristics of the radar echo of helicopter rotor blade are analyzed firstly,then the possibility to detect a hovering helicopter by the main rotor echo(MRE) is analyzed.As a result,a multi-scanning-periods accumulate detection(MSPAD) strategy for detecting hovering helicopter against ground clutter is proposed,which is the same with all kinds of helicopter,and the factors that may influence the detection performance are discussed.

    • An Unconditionally Stable Implicit Finite-Difference Time-Domain Method

      摘要:An implicit finite-difference time-domain method (FDTD) using the principle of the alternating direction implicit (ADI) technique is introduced.The method is unconditionally stable,and the maximum time-step size is not limited by the Courant-Friedrich-Levy (CFL) condition,but rather by numerical errors.Compared with the conventional FDTD method,the time-step size of ADI-FDTD can be much larger,so the simulation time is shortened,especially when the grid size is much smaller than wavelength.The perfect matched layer (PML) technique is used in ADI-FDTD calculation for the first time.The expressions for the exponential time-stepping algorithm in PML are derived.The ADI-FDTD method is validated by an example.

      摘要:Digitized multiple frequency CW radar is a kind of new system radar.It can detect lots of targets and acquire different movement parameters as well.But it is hard to enlarge maximum unambiguous range while improving ranging accuracy at the same time.To deal with such a contradiction,stagger frequency differences are adopted,thus maximum unambiguous range can be enlarged greatly.The influences the noise may have on the ranging results are presented.Correct solutions for ambiguous range,the limitation for imput SNR,change in ranging accuracy and restriction to staggering parameters are discussed.Simulation results verify the conclusion,which could be a groundwork to future research.

    • EM Scattering from Guass Rough Surface

      摘要:In this paper the scattering from Gauss rough surface is studied through numerical method.The matrix equation is formed by the moment method.Because the matrix equation is of large size,an effective solving method should be developed to deal with the problem.The author presents a new iterative method to solve the moment equation.The computed results are compared with one that are solved by direct matrix inverse method.The results show that the agreement between two results are very good.

      摘要:A locally conformal finite-difference time-domain (CFDTD) method is presented for the accurate analysis of pin-loaded microstrip patch antennas.This approach can accurately model the feed probe and the shorting pin with variable positions and dimensions and can be used in modeling multi-pin-loaded case.The calculated results are compared with measured ones,showing good agreement.

    • Finite Multicycle Detector of LPI Phase-Coded Signals

      摘要:The finite multicycle detector is presented for LPI phase-coded signals.This detector is easy to implement,and takes advantage of the main cyclic-frequency features of signals to improve the performance.The expressions of the finite multicycle detector in white noise with variable and constant power are given in this paper.The deflection of the finite multicycle detector is analyzed and is compared with other detectors.The performance of the finite multicycle detector has been evaluated by computer simulations.

      摘要:This paper Analyzes the design principle of the single unit and array antennas for the high-frequency surface wave radar (HF-SWR).The HF-SWR for the antenna system featured with "a linear phased array composed of eight two-element Yagi-Uda unit and T/R bi-functional array with one transmitting and eight receiving" has been proposed and successfully designed.The electronic characteristic has been analyzed in detail.Experiments show that the array system meets all the indexes the system demands.

      摘要:Based on a single snapshot data,the effect of mutual coupling on the performance of adaptive arrays is studied.Firstly,the signal processing method based on a single snapshot data is demonstrated,the method of constructing the equations for solving the weight is introduced,and the expression for the reconstructed desire signal and the formula for the adaptive pattern are given.Then,applying the MOM analytic model and the "forward" method,the effect of mutual coupling between elements is analyzed.The method of mutual coupling compensation in adaptive arrays is proposed.Finally,the effect of mutual coupling on the resolution and the output pattern of adaptive system and the compensation results of the given methods in this paper are simulated with existence of strong or weak interference.

    • Modified Strong Tracking Kalman Filter Based on Logic Switching

      摘要:A modified strong tracking Kalman filter (MSTKF) for linear stochastic systems is proposed.By changing the multiple time-varying fading factors of the strong tracking filter,MSTKF switches between Kalman filtering and strong tracking filtering.When Kalman filtering cannot track efficiently the state with abrupt changes,MSTKF switches to strong tracking filtering with varying softening factor.A numerical simulation example is given to show the effectiveness of the method.

    • A New Kind of Fuzzy Neural Network Classifier

      摘要:A Multi-Resolution Combined Classifier (MRCC) model and its learning algorithm are proposed.The MRCC is a modification of Simpson's original Fuzzy Min-Max (FMM) Neural Network Classifier.It overcomes some undesired properties of the original model:specifically,training results do not depend heavily on pattern presentation order and hyper-box expansion is not limited by a fixed maximum size.Compared with the original model,a new parameter called the reliability of hyper-box is introduced in MRCC,which presents the correct classification rate of a single hyper-box.A locally uniform distribution hypothesis is also introduced,so that the reliability of hyper-box parameter can be adjusted on-line.In addition,the multi-resolution combination method alleviates the effort to select an optimal parameter for the maximum size of a hyper-box in the original algorithm.Experiments were made following some recent evaluation criteria known in literature,and show that compared with original model,the MRCC model has better classification performance,more adaptive learning ability and creates less hyper-boxes.

    • A Small Area Low Power Consumption Mask ROM ASIC Design

      摘要:The ASIC design of a 4K bit mask-programmable CMOS ROM is introduced,and the ROM has a small area of 0.082mm2 with a power-delay product of 0.036PJ/bit.The high packing density and the excellent power-delay product have been achieved by using double well,single polysilicon,double metal 0.6μm CMOS technology and a serial ROM cell structure.The power supply currents in active and quiescent modes are 1.2mA and less than 0.1μA at +5V,respectively.Using a novel and simple sensitive amplifier/driver structure efficiently reduces the memory access time.The memory access time is 36ns.
