摘要:The good quality cascaded multiwavelength chirped fiber Bragg grating (MFBG) were written using scanning mask/fiber technique.The MFBG had low PMD (<1.2ps) and low insertion loss (<4dB).Dispersion of 4×10Gbps WDM transmission over 640km of G.652 fiber was compensated using MFBG with all channels' power penalty less than 1.5dB.We had studied fluctuation of power penalty when source wavelength changed ±20GHz around ITU-T center.The fluctuation was less than 0.2dB.The experiment showed that overall penalty was proportional either to the number or to the square root of the number of the MFBG employed along the link.Ripple of overall MFBG delay and fluctuation of overall MFBG reflectivity were not simply piled up,but related with the place of MFBG and line amplifier gain.

摘要:Electrochemical Double Layer Capacitors (EDLCs) are playing great roles in Research-and-Development field of power engineering as a new energy store device.The porous carbon material developed in our Lab exhibits perfect physical structure and properties.Its good electrochemical performances were confirmed by the experiment of CV and AC impedance analysis etc.The specific capacitance of active carbon was 173.2F/g at the 16mA/cm2 current density discharge.And under large discharge current condition,the specific capacitance of EDLC decayed little with a thrilling life over 105 times at the same time.A hybrid power source consisting of Nickel-hydrogen and double layer capacitor was demonstrated to power successfully a simulated load encountered in communication equipment.

摘要:A novel,robust algorithm for solving the non-rigid matching between two images is proposed.This method represents the image by sets of feature points.Due to a special characteristic of the thin-plate spline(TPS)—it can decompose a deformation into the affine and non-affine components.TPS for non-rigid spatial mapping is chosen.A convex TPS bending energy function describing the problem is derived and a one-to-one two-way matching constraint on the match matrix is enforced.By minimizing the above bending energy,we can jointly estimate the TPS mapping parameters and match matrix between the two feature point-sets of the images.We utilize the deterministic annealing which emerged from the statistical physics to solve the optimization problem.Embedded within a deterministic annealing framework,and by introducing an annealing temperature to control the degree of fuzziness of the match matrix,the algorithm not only improves the robustness but also reduces the chances of getting trapped in local minima.We compare our method with the polynomial quasi-exhaustive exploration (PQEE) algorithm proposed by Michigan University,and the results show that PQEE's performance deteriorates much faster with the increase of degrees of deformation,amounts of noise and percentage of outliers.We also conduct experiments on matching of hand-shapes images and registration of anatomical brain MR images.The experimental results demonstrate the validation and robustness of the algorithm.
摘要:A new experimental technique namely the linear cofactor difference sub-threshold voltage method is presented in this paper for extraction of the MOSFET interface traps induced by the gate oxide stress test and verified on N-MOSFETs.The basic principle of this technique is introduced and the experimental realization is elucidated in details.It is shown that this method enables reliable extraction of the increased interface traps with a rise of the accumulated gate oxide stress test time to be obtained and that its validity is also verified by the extraction experiments on an n-channel MOSFET device.This method will be a new tool in characterizing and predicting reliability and lifetime of MOFSTs.
摘要:The paper gives the equivalent circuit of a high voltage LDMOS at very high temperatures,and analyzes performance of leakage current and intrinsic parameters of a LDMOS from 25℃ to 300℃.It may be concluded that the maximal applied temperature of a LDMOS is determined by the reverse leakage current of a pn junction across gate and drain,and the relationship between on-resistance and temperature is (T/T1)Z(z is 1.5 to 2.5).

摘要:The methods to solve 3-D eddy current problem are reviewed,and the boundary integral equations of minimum order shows many advantages among them.But its formulations in previous papers have some flaws.So,the limiting procedure to obtain the boundary integral equations (BIE) of minimum order is presented,and the errors in the previous equations are corrected.

摘要:The track association and fusion technique of synchronized multi-sensor tracking system in case of correlated noises is developed.The discretization to linear continuous time system expresses that there exists a correlation among common process noise and measurement noise,although they are independent of in linear continuous time system.And then in the light of hypothesis testing theory,the synchronized multi-sensor track association and fusion algorithm is presented.The simulation results express its validity.
摘要:In pervasive computing,the terminal's available resources will change dynamically and unpredictably.The terminal should be adaptive to changes in the supply of resources and respond to these changes.The paper proposes the adaptive architecture based on an embedded operating system,describes the adaptive algorithm using control theory,and analyzes the equilibrium,stability and agility of system.The paper demonstrates the adaptivity of the system according to a multi-task system.

摘要:Based on the analysis on protection process protecting optical transport network in the condition of failure,one lower limit model for evaluating the protection and switching time is shown and validated.The emulation result shows that the protection time severely depends on protection and switching protocol,and the effect of the switch time of optical switches on protection time is independent on network size.

摘要:With the rapid increase of Internet users,it is more and more important for Internet information retrieval systems to process large amount of users' query efficiently and rapidly.In this paper,we propose a model,Fastresponse,of distributed information retrieval systems for Internet applications.Currently,the distributed information retrieval systems on the Web have problems in the aspects of availability,reliability,scalability and intelligent query service.In Fastresponse,we propose some methods for the management of Web server to resolve the problems above.Thus,we can better process the users' query.We describe the features of Fastresponse.The system adopts a two-level scheduling policy to arrange the works of servers and documents.The system uses the standby servers that are dynamically selected when the system requires.The system monitors the running servers' states in the same cluster and among the clusters.The system automatically regroups the servers according to the use's request.

摘要:State space's explosion of Stochastic Petri Nets(SPN) is always one of the important problems to solve.In Stochastic Petri Nets,sequent and parallel transitions are primary structure.Simplification of sequent and parallel transitions can not only help to solve the problem of state space's explosion,but also make preparations for other simplification methods.Meanwhile,in some important SPN models,such as Workflow and Multimedia,there are a lot of sequent and parallel transitions,so simplifying sequent and parallel transition structure,especially deducing its equivalent equation will make a significant contribution to simplification of whole SPN.The authors discuss sequent and parallel transition model and simplification theory,deduce their performance equivalent equations,give an example of simplification of SPN model,and finally analyze the conclusion.
摘要:With regard to the flow regulation of the best-effort traffic,i.e.,the controllable traffic in high-speed computer communication networks,the present paper proposes a novel control theoretic approach that designs a proportional-plus-integrative (PI) controller for congestion controlling.Based on the traffic model of a single node and on system stability criterion,it is shown that the PI controller can regulate the source rate on the basis of the knowledge of buffer occupancy of the destination node in such a manner that (1) the congestion-controlled network is asymptotically stable without oscillation in terms of the buffer occupancy of the destination node;and (2) the steady value of queue length is consistent with the specified threshold value.Simulations show good performance of such controlled networks

摘要:This paper presents a new method for calculating network reliability.By improving GENERATE Algorithm,we generate the most probable effective states in order of non-increasing probability and form a subspace with some coverage probability.Through the delay analysis in the subspace,we obtain the dynamic and steady reliability indexes of the network.Finally,using the method we calculate the performability of a CCSN.
摘要:Location tracking operations in personal communications services (PCS) network are expensive.A location tracking algorithm called Pointer Forwarding has been proposed to reduce the location update cost.Obviously,determining the length of pointers' chain is significant for this scheme to be used efficiently.Hitherto,a useful formula of the length of pointers' chain has been proposed on the assumption that the residence time of a mobile has an exponential distribution.However,this assumption restricts the result to be used widely.This paper extends the result enormously.Utilizing the density evolution method of vector Markov processes,we obtain a probability formula of the length of the pointers' chains of Pointer Forwarding scheme,where the residence time of a mobile has a general distribution.The formula is suited for evaluating the performance of a variety of Pointer Forwarding mobility management scheme.
摘要:The key problem of the computing cluster is how to utilize all the resources effectively.Load balancing is a primary means of making the best of all the resources in a cluster.We propose two load balancing algorithm,which are based on the resource utilization and the vector load index.These algorithms adopt the process migration mechanism.We conduct a lot of trace-driven simulations.

摘要:A new algorithm named VMSK/2 for base-band modulation is introduced.Using this method,very high band efficiency can be obtained without loss of SNR,which is different from other compression methods such as MPSK,QAM,and so on.By means of current hardware technique,VMSK/2 accompanied with SSB-SC can transmit data at 20 bits/sec/Hz through radio frequency (RF) transmission system.Thetheory of VMSK/2 is explained in detail and the simulation results are also presented.It shows that VMSK/2 with SSB-SC can obtain 10-6 BER and band efficiency of 20 bits/sec/Hz with SNR values of 13 dB.

摘要:A Biblock Zero Tree compression Coding (BZTC) method,based on wavelet Zero Tree compression Coding(ZTC),is represented.Because this method have characters of ZTC's high compression ration,real-time implementing simply,and have an advantage of higher coding/decoding speed,real-time transmission conveniently,it can be applied in the fields of variety of lower code transmission applications.

摘要:When a digital circuit switches states,logical changes in the circuit can directly influence the transient power supply current of the circuit.Waveform simulator based on Boolean process can simulate digital circuits precisely and efficiently.The result of the waveform simulator reflects not only the logic functions but also the timing behavior of a circuit.From the simulation results of this waveform simulator,we could get all the information about logical changes in a circuit.Based on this waveform simulator,the paper made some improvement on a dynamic current testing method based on counting logical changes and implemented it.For some open faults and delay faults injected in the S208 circuit,this method gave out some testing results.SPICE simulation experiments were done on the testing pairs generated by this method.Experimental results show that,for parts of the open defects and delay defects in the circuit,testing pairs generated by this method can arouse great difference between the transient power supply currents of the fault circuit and the fault free circuit.By comparing the average transient power supply currents,we could distinguish a fault circuit from a fault free circuit.All these results proved the feasibility and validation of this dynamic current testing method.

摘要:Intrusion detection models based on system call sequence are discussed,and a new intrusion detection model based on audit event vector which is named "AUDIDS" is presented.This model has not only the merits of the previous IDS model but also richer semantics and higher efficiency.We describe its implementation mechanism on Linux which defines,collects and stores audit event and improves the storage and matching of normal database.
摘要:There is an inevitable possibility of an LSP forming loops in MPLS networks,and the application of MPLS's loop control mechanisms is restricted by the ATM technological traits.The paper studied different kinds of loop control mechanisms of MPLS networks applied on ATM,including the ATM TTL field survival mechanism,loop detection mechanisms,and two kinds of loop prevention algorithms designed for establishing loop-free state-merging LSPs.These mechanisms were compared in various aspects by theoretical analysis and partial simulation,and obtained some significative conclusions.
摘要:Based on the idea of contention reservation access and polling transmission,User-dependent Perfect-scheduling Multiple Access (UPMA) protocol is presented,which supports both node mobility and multi-hop network architecture.It improves channel utilization greatly and guarantees that a node accesses the channel rapidly.By adopting the protocol in multi-hop wireless ad hoc network,the network performance of Poisson data traffic is simulated and the related results are given,which show that the UPMA protocol has high throughput,low packet transmission delay and small packet dropping probability.

摘要:We introduce a kind of new wavelet-domain HMT segmentation method,a finer to coarser HMTseg,which combine with the classification results of the three subbands for the 2-D wavelet transform.We demonstrate that the new method's performance is somewhat better than the raw segmentation in prevenient document.The advantage to our segmentation algorithms is that they can offer improved segmentation accuracy with smaller computational burden.Finally we introduce a new HMTseg method by updating the classification constrainedly,and then we get a better segmentation result for document image.
摘要:The software platform is the key to construct an Internet-aware HomeNet with remote control capability in a diverse hardware environment.This paper presents the design and implementation of SOPCA (Software Platform of Connecting Appliance),a novel general software platform addresses the problems of resource management in HomeNet.SOPCA is a configurable platform to provide various services for users.A management protocol is also defined in SOPCA to control the information appliance in HomeNet.The design of SOPCA considers the characteristics of hardware in HomeNet and its connnection with Internet.With a general upper-level interface to capsule the difference between various hardware and distributed agent technique,SOPCA is a flexible platform adapted to radically different hardware in HomeNet environment.
摘要:Buffer management is one of the important and difficult problems in high performance routers and switches.One excellent buffer management scheme can improve the resource utilization and decrease the number of discard packets.We first discuss some buffer management schemes and algorithms oriented to fixed length cells with dynamic thresholds-DT and Optimal DT,and DT for multiple loss priorities.Then we put forward the optimal DT for multiple loss priorities that can be applied in high performance routers and simulate it orienting to varying-length packets.It receives the advantage of full use of buffer,owned by the Optimal DT,with fewer number of discard packets in the case of multiple priorities,and the simulation analysis indicates that its performance is quite excellent.

摘要:The unified 1/f noise model,such as BSIM3,has been widely used as noise prediction and analysis model,and it works very well in most cases.However,based on physical analysis in [1],it is pointed out that the unified 1/f noise model may not be suitable to predict the 1/f noise for p-type MOSFETs in linear regime because it underestimates noise power so much as bias Vgs increases.In this paper,a physically based expression for mobility fluctuation (MF) 1/f noise model is derived and simulation results for the new MF model and unified 1/f noise are presented together in linear region.The results show that the new models are in agreement with the experimental data well.

摘要:A new equalizer called tap-mobile equalizer is presented.With the efficient algorithm of channel estimation,time delay and amplitude of all themultipath have been known so that the new equalizer just maintains those working taps.As the result shows,it consumes much less resource and has greatly improved performance compared with conventional equalizer.

摘要:C C Wang and coworkers built a belief combination model consisted of multiple exponential bidirectional associative memory (Multi-eBAM) through using eBAM with equal privileges and applied it into the voting decision making of multiple experts and obtained the latter decision-making performance.Using Chen improved eBAM (IeBAM) and endowing different privilege to each IeBAM or expert,a multiple weighted belief combination model consisted of IeBAM (Multi-WIeBAM) is constructed and investigated and becomes an extension to Wang Multi-eBAM model.Then its stability in synchronous and asynchronous updating modes is respectively proven and its corresponding decision-making performance and majority factor for different privilege of each expert are obtained.So the proposed model confirms the real-life voting decision.The initial analysis indicates that the majority factor of Multi-WIeBAM is tighter than that of the corresponding Multi-WeBAM,in other words,the former has better decision-making performance than the latter.Finally the experimental results also verify the above point.

摘要:This paper presents the modeling and numeric calculations of a radio frequency(RF)/microwave MEMS shunt switch.The movement behavior of the movable membrane is taken as a single directional damped oscillation under an electrostatic force,an elastic recovery force and a drag force in the air.A set of mathematic formula and calculated results are given for a typical MEMS shunt switch.The calculated switching times for typical MEMS shunt switches are about 1~40μs,depending on the thickness of the membrane,constitutive materials and structure parameters.The obtained results are well agreed with the reported experimental ones.Finally,The limitations about the modeling and numerical calculations are discussed.
摘要:A 1μm CMOS eight-bit integrated circuit was designed and fabricated,used for sampling,weighting,controlling and summing of both SAW delay lines and SAW IDTs in multi-chip module (MCM) programmable SAW filter.Its characteristics and performances are simulated and tested.The circuit of each bit consists of two sampling capacitances which are made in sandwich structure of two layers of Al and one layer of poly-silicon and also consists of two high transconductance N-MOSFETs with high W/L ratio.The circuit is simple and compatible with traditional CMOS processes.Its insertion loss is about -8dB~-20dB within 15MHz~250MHz frequency and the weighted circuit's on/off ratio is within the range from 7dB to 18dB.
摘要:This paper presents a new improved algorithm to reduce the considerable complexity of decoding process of Turbo codes.It can accelerate decoding and improve decoding performance through the threshold decision of extrinsic information.In addition,approach to determine the specific threshold value was presented.The results of computer simulation have shown that the proposed algorithm has better performance and lower complexity than the traditional Maximum A-Posteriori decoding algorithm.

摘要:Silicon radio-frequency (RF) integrated circuit spiral inductors are modeled and analyzed.The important effects of substrate loss are included in the analysis.Circuit analysis and network analysis techniques are used to extract a two-port compact inductor model,which can be easily used in circuit simulation below certain frequency.The effect of substrate loss upon Q-factor is analyzed using this compact model.
摘要:A video-based face verification method is proposed.Stereo vision is used to roughly segment face area from its background,and then multiple-related template matching method is used to locate the face area finely.The face organs are extracted from the located face area and accordingly the face sample is cut out.Face samples are collected from video sequence,and a support vector machine classifier is trained on this sample set against other face samples as his verifier.Experimental results demonstrate the feasibility and robustness of this algorithm in complex real environment.

摘要:Based on PEI domain,this paper proposes a novel error-resilience technology for H.263 video transmission.It includes adaptive forward error-correction,error concealment and error-propagation prevention algorithms utilizing PEI domain.Simulation results show that the video quality is obviously improved using proposed technique over variable and error-prone channels.Furthermore,these algorithms are compatible with H.263 standard,and the presented technology has been used in practice.

摘要:N-channel MOS transistors from CC4007,CC4011 and LC54HC04RH device were irradiated with different dose rate Co-60 gamma rays,lower energy protons(less then 9MeV)and 1MeV electrons.According to the result,under 5V bias conditions during radiation,the damage for protons below 9MeV was always less then Co-60.The lower the proton energy,the less the damage.Comparison of electrons to Co-60 showed that for equal absorbed doses,the damage produced was almost equivalent.At higher dose rate Co-60 gamma rays radiation environment,the oxide trapped charges by the irradiation was main reason to induce device failure.when approaching the of low dose irradiation environment,interface trapped charges by the irradiation was the main reason to induce the LC54HC04RH failure.The main reason for CC4007 device failure was the oxide trapped charges by the irradiation.
摘要:A thinned image is viewed as a graph,and feature points such as ending,bifurcation and crossover are extracted as the vertexes.By counting the number of vertexes and Sides and analyzing their quantitative relationship,whether closed curves exist or not in an image is determined.The proposed method is easy to implement and has strong anti-noise ability.
摘要:By Integrating the smoothing techniques and placement methods of VBR video on MZ disk,and synthetically optimizing the requirement of disk I/O bandwidth,memory and disk storage space,the paper gives a smoothing retrieval algorithm that minimizes the memory cost and disk retrieval time of peak data rate,and maximizes utilization of disk storage space.A corresponding storage scheme of video object on disk is proposed in this paper too.The results of experiment show the algorithm is efficient.
摘要:The stability and capability of routing protocol implementations (RPI) in a router is becoming more and more important with the growth of Internet.This paper proposes a novel approach named stress testing technique to test RPI.Comparing with traditional testing techniques,we propose the abstract method of stress testing and build the test environment.A stochastic Petri Net model given in this paper illustrates the stress testing process for OSPF.Based on this approach,we test CISCO2600 with tester IP-TEST.The result shows:the computational complexity of its OSPF implementation is O((ln N)4) and the upper bound is 43,000 networks.This experiment shows that the stress testing technique can be used to inspect the stability,the computational complexity and scalability of RPI.Furthermore,this test technique can be widely used to inspect other types of RPI,such as RIP,BGP etc.

摘要:As a widely used protocol on the current internet,Point-to-Point Protocol(PPP) is very important to the computer's connection with the network and interconnection between routers.In this background,a method is needed to test and guarantee the rightness of the PPP modules in the interconnecting devices.Based on the bridf introduction of PPP,this paper analyzes the test organization,test method and the design of test suite on PPP.It proposes the test structure suitable for the PPP conformance testing.Furthermore,it does the PPP conformance testing on the real router.

摘要:As an effective method for congestion control,Active Queue Management plays an important role in improving the QoS of the Internet.An effective self-tuning fuzzy queue management algorithm based on the mathematical model of TCP congestion control mechanism was presented.With the application of this algorithm,routers in IP network regulate its packet drop probability through a fuzzy self-tuning algorithm according to the queue length in the buffer.The main advantage of this algorithm is that the queue length can keep stable in a variety of network environments without the difficulty of parameter configuration.Simulations show that this fuzzy queue management algorithm is efficient,stable and outperforms other proposed queue management algorithms.
摘要:The core of the traditional arbitrary frequency divider is periodically resetting.This paper proposes a new concept for frequency divider,in which control element is periodically inserted into a counter to avoid reset.The mathematical work of the new concept is given in the paper.An algorithm based on the new concept is introduced also.And,a design practice based on the algorithm shows a visible improvement in terms of both performance and recourse cost,compared with the traditional design methodology.
摘要:Propose a precise discrete model of simple BUCK converter,which is operated in discontinuous mode (DCM).Based on the model,bifurcation phenomena in the converter are analyzed.Compared with the approximate model,the new model has more advantages in showing and explaining the strange non-linear phenomena.So the study in the paper is necessary,and it is not limited in the circuits of BUCK Converter but in all the DC/DC power converters.
