    • An Identity-Based Authentication Model for Multi-Domain Grids

      摘要:We consider the efficient authentication for Grids.We analyze the problems of existing Grid authentication frameworks,and propose an identity-based authentication model for multi-domain Grids.Our model is based on the identity-based PKI so as to overcome the problem of low efficiency and high cost posed by traditional certificate based PKI.Moreover,our model supports cross-domain mutual entity authentication,which is necessary to common Grids consisting of distinct domains.Through simulation testing,it is shown that our model is more efficient and more lightweight than those frameworks based on traditional PKI.It is also shown that due to supporting cross-domain authentication,our model is more suitable for Grids than framework proposed by W.Mao,which can only work in a single domain.

    • A Certificate Revocation Scheme Based on Quadratic Residues Problem

      摘要:The revocation of certificates is very important to PKI.The sticking points that influence a certificate revocation scheme heavily are the traffic for distribution of certificate status,the time the CA spent to flush those status to directory,whether the access to directory comes on smoothly,whether there is a strict requirement on the security of the directory,and computation complexity of status verification.Following the analysis of the existing certificate revocation schemes,we propose a new certificate revocation scheme based the difficulty of resolving the Quadratic Residues problem.This new scheme is good at the traffic needed to distribution the status,the time to flush the status to the directory and also good at the smoothness of access of users to the directory,and requires nothing about the security of the directory.And then we show that this new scheme has lower computation complexity than that of OCSP,CRL and CRT.

      摘要:With the two-variable one-way function,a novel (t,n) threshold multi-secret sharing scheme was presented to overcome Chien-Jan-Tseng scheme’s drawback about a large amount of computation and Yang-Chang-Hwang scheme’s drawback about lots of public values.Multiple secrets can be shared in one sharing session,and each participant’s secret shadow is as long as each of the shared secrets.In the recovery phase,each cooperative participant only needs to submit a pseudo-shadow instead of his secret shadow,and his secret shadow cannot be disclosed.Integrating the advantages of the existing schemes and avoiding their disadvantages,so this scheme is a practical and efficient secret sharing scheme.

      摘要:The paper investigates protection for dynamic multicast traffic.In order to improve network resource utilization efficiency and reduce block probability,similar to unicast shared protection,protecting wavelengths can be shared among different multicast connections.The paper explores a shared protection algorithm for dynamic multicast traffic (SPDMT).Performance of the algorithm is assessed through simulation and compared with dedicated protection.Simulation results show that SPDMT uses less network resources and has lower block probability than dedicated protection because SPDMT shares protecting wavelengths among multicast connections.

      摘要:A general SER performance analysis framework of Cascade Distributed Antenna System (CDAS) in CDMA system with hybrid SC/MRC diversity receiver is presented.The channel model assumes frequency-selective channel with Nakagami/lognormal composite fading statistics.With the derived general SER formula,the influences of Multipath Intensity Profile (MIP)'s decaying factor,spatial and temporal diversity order,number of user and the shadowing factor are analyzed.Numerical results show that the CDAS can effectively combat fading,and improve the system capacity.It can also impair the impact of lognormal shadowing fading.

      摘要:A new method to voiced/unvoiced/silence of speech classification using Support Vector Machine (SVM) is proposed.This classifier can effectively classify speech frames into voiced frame,unvoiced frame and silence frame under various levels of signal noise ratio.Firstly,in high SNR,the VU/S classification is done by using the four difference characteristic parameters used in G.729B VAD as SVM's input features.The comparison of experiment results shows that the proposed method outperforms other traditional methods (G.729B VAD and BP network),which shows the SVM's classification method is available.And the performance of SVM for different kernel functions in the experiment was analyzed and discussed as well.Secondly,the paper also discusses the extraction of the statistical features which is immune to the background noise and the adaptive estimation method for the time-varying background noise in low SNR,which are analyzed by applying a statistical model.Lastly,the comparison experiment results in various noise environments under varying levels of SNR are given.According to the simulation results,the proposed method shows significantly better classification performances than the other traditional methods in middle and low SNR cases.

    • A Novel Classification-Based Audio Segmentation Algorithm

      摘要:Content-based audio segmentation plays an important role in multimedia applications.Many conventional segmentation algorithms are based on small-scale classification and always result in a high false alarm rate.Our experimental results show that large-scale audio can be more easily classified than small ones,and this trend is irrespective of classifiers.According to this fact,we present a novel framework for audio segmentation to reduce the false segmentations.First,a rough segmentation step based on large-scale classification is taken to ensure the integrality of the content of segments.Then a subtle segmentation step based on small-scale classification is taken to further locate the segmentation points from the boundary areas computed by the rough segmentation step.Both theoretical analysis and experimental results show that nearly 3/4 false segmentation points can be reduced comparing to the conventional audio segmentation method based on small-scale audio classification,while preserving a low missing rate,when infrequently type-changed audio streams are dealt.So it can be concluded that it is very suitable for the real tasks such as music broadcast segmentation or music video analysis.

    • Region-of-Interest Coding of 3D Meshes Based on Wavelet Transform

      摘要:In applications,users may be only interested in parts of a mesh,and demand higher reconstruction fidelity of the region of interest (ROI) than that of non-ROI at very low bit rate.Up to now,there have no publications on ROI coding of 3D meshes.We proposed an efficient method of 3D mesh ROI coding in this paper.Two methods to code the ROI firstly and four ROI coding models are proposed.A quick scheme for constructing ROI mask is also suggested.Experimental results show that the proposed method has achieved the ROI coding of 3D meshes efficiently,and supported the browsing of 3D meshes on Internet interactively and individually.

    • Automatic and Robust Shadow Segmentation from Two-Dimensional Scenes

      摘要:Based on combining both hue value in HSV color space and blue component in RGB color space,a robust and effective algorithm was presented to automatically extract shaded regions from two-dimensional color images.According to hue difference between shaded and non-shaded regions,possible shaded regions were extracted by HSV color model at first.In order to eliminate the influence of objects with bluer color within the segmented shaded regions,the blue component in RGB color space was taken as a template.A single threshold segmentation method was used to determine the optimal threshold value of histogram obtained from the template multiplied by the extracted shaded regions pixel-wise.The segmented regions with the blue value lower than the threshold value were taken as an efficient shaded region.Experimental results show that the developed algorithm is feasible after shadow detection on actual natural scenes in different illumination conditions.

    • New Adaptive MRF-MAP Error Concealment of Video Sequences ,XIE Sheng-li

      摘要:When encoded digital video sequences transmit over noisy communication channels,the information of the images will usually lose.A new adaptive error concealment method based on Markov Random Field (MRF) - Maximum a Posteriori (MAP) is proposed as a post-processing tool at the decoder side to solve this problem.In the former MRF-MAP method,usually iterations will cause edge blurring and inaccurate initial solution will cause blocking effects.In order to protect the edges,Discrimination Analysis method is used to introduce the pixel-subjection-degree.So,edge threshold T for the Huber function of MRF is adaptively obtained,according to the edge or smooth area that the pixel belongs to.In the same time,to eliminate the blocking artifacts,a slope k is also introduced to the linear part of the Huber function.Simulation results show that the proposed method can recover the higher quality image on both subjective visual evaluation and objective numerical metrics,comparing to the existing error concealment methods.

      摘要:A cyclic-cumulant based DS-SS (Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum) signal detection scheme is developed by extending the asymptotically optimal chi-squared test for cyclostationarity to DS-SS signal detection.The explicit formula of the second-order cyclic-cumulant is derived,and the influence of time interval on the cycle-frequency estimation from the cyclic-cumulant is analyzed.On the base of this,a new cyclic-cumulant based DS-SS signal parameter estimation method is proposed,which can perform blind detection and blind parameter estimation without a priori knowledge of pseudorandom sequence and frequency parameters.Moreover,the method also avoids multi-dimensional searching in parameter estimation.Simulation results have proved the validity of the method.

      摘要:As Genetic Algorithms handles the constraint optimization problem,the difficulty is how to solve the constraints.According to this problem,a new improved Genetic Algorithms (CIFGA) is proposed.The key strategy in CIFGA is that the whole infeasible individuals,appeared after each generation,will be transformed into feasible ones.Go through generation after generation,the optimum solution of optimization problem can be founded.The CIFGA,with either binary coding or real coding,is proved to converge to global optimum solution.The experimental results show that CIFGA has great advantage of convergence property over the GAs based on Penalty Function(PFGA),and has good ability of solving constrained optimization in general purpose.

      摘要:Non-gyro inertial measurement unit (NGIMU) uses only accelerometers replacing gyroscopes to compute the motion of a moving body.Based on the grey forecasting theory,a new compensation method for the angular rate estimating of NGIMU is proposed on the actual condition of existing the accelerometer mounting error,which includes the location error and the angle error.The algorithm gets the compensation equation of the angular rate error using the accelerometer output,and compensates the angular rate in the traditional algorithm using the grey forecasting method.In addition,a new nine-accelerometer configuration of NGIMU is presented,with its experiment system built.The experiment verification of the proposed methods for estimating the angular velocity is also investigated based on the presented NGIMU configuration.The results show the feasibility of the configuration and indicate that in the angle measurement range of ±100 degree,the measurement precision can be improved for 3~4 degree.

      摘要:Safety-critical hard real-time systems (in brief,we call them SCHRS below) often operate in harsh environmental conditions that necessitate fault-tolerant computing and safety assurance techniques.Various hardware as well as software safety assurance techniques are employed in these systems among which safety kernel (shell) is a new scheme in application layer and it's correctness can be proofed by formal tool.Appropriate response time analysis schemes (in brief,we call them RTA below) are fundamental to the design of predictable hard real-time systems.However few RTA schemes is suitable to SCHRS based on safety kernel or shell.The main contribution of this paper is twofold.First,we propose an appropriate RTA to improve system fault resilience.Compared with other response time analysis polices,the proposed scheduling analysis takes into account the fact that the recoveries of tasks in safety kernel or shell may be executed at higher priority levels,and there are several kinds of error,such as internal,external,hidden and visible error.This characteristic is very important in SCHRS based on safety kernel or shell.Second,we present a suitable checkpointing fault-tolerant scheme for SCHRS based on safety kernel or shell.The emphasis here is on utilizing this RTA as an off-line design support tool.The effectiveness of the proposed approach is evaluated by simulation.

    • Wavelet Domain Semi-fragile Watermarking Algorithm for Image Authentication

      摘要:A new semi-fragile watermarking algorithm for image authentication is introduced.In this algorithm,two watermarks are generated by extracting the image feature from the low frequency domain,one of the watermark is used for classifying of the intentional content modification,and another is used for indicating the modified location,so it has provided a effective mechanism for image authentication.In addition,the watermark generation and watermark embedment are disposed in the image itself,and the received image authentication needs no information about the original image or watermark,so it will increase the security of watermark and prevent forged watermark.Experimental results show the algorithm provides very good classification of intentional content modification and incidental tampering,and also can indicate the locations that have been modified.

    • Single Queuing Performance Study with Multifractal Network Traffic Input

      摘要:Multifraction has been proven suitable for characterizing the burstiness of network traffic in multi-timescale.This paper studies the queuing performance of single queue driven by a general multifractal input process using the queue over-loading probability.We proposed an analytic probability framework to describe the queue over-loading probabilities constituted by scaling function and moment factor,which is validated by the analytical results under the conditions of FBM process inputting.Furthermore,the probability performances are comprehensively analyzed and compared as queue over-loading with an actual traffic data inputting.The results indicate that the analytic probability framework is available to calculate the queuing performance driven by both momfratal and multifractal input processes.Combining with the joint multifractal (JMF) traffic model presented in literature[1],the queue length of the queuing system can be calculated quantitatively by the probability framework.

      摘要:In the analysis of optical imaging of functional brain,the generalized indicator functions (GIF) algorithm presented by T.Yokoo,etc.is an efficient method to extract the brain activity map.But further study shows that this algorithm has the shortage of heavy computation in dealing with brain image series.In order to resolve this problem,a recursive GIF (RGIF) algorithm is presented,which is the combination of Weng's recursive algorithm in dealing with the FERET face database and the GIF algorithm,the RGIF algorithm can sharply reduce the computation utilizing the characteristic of recursive algorithm.We compare the GIF and RGIF algorithms using the simulated and experimental datum,the results show that the RGIF algorithm can relieve the computational burden substantially with at almost the same computing precision as that with GIF algorithm.

    • Superimposed Training Power Allocation and Synchronization for OFDM Systems

      摘要:It is a good choice for OFDM system using superimposed training sequence to achieve synchronization,channel estimation and equalization,etc.However,many problems such as superimposed training power allocation are still waiting for us to solve.The power allocation scheme,two superimposed structure and the synchronization scheme with superimposed training are proposed to solve these problems.Theory analysis and simulation show that these schemes are useful for OFDM systems with superimposed training to improve the performances.

      摘要:Motivated by the performance of linear multiuser receivers can be improved by widely linear processing,and the convergence speed of stochastic approximation algorithm can be fasten by affine and iterate-averaging,this work develops a widely linear iterate-averaging affine LMS algorithm for DS-CDMA MAI suppression.Its mean square convergence has been analyzed,and its stability region and misadjustment have been found out.Simulation in MATLAB shows that the performance of the proposed algorithm.

    • Using EHN-HP Mechanism to Improve TCP Performance in Mobile Network

      摘要:Wireless and mobile network is becoming more and more popular in these years.Internet is extending from wireline network to mobile network.TCP protocol is the most widely transport protocol used in Internet.TCP was designed on the basis of wireline network and work well on it.But the features of mobile network degrade the performance of original TCP protocol.The reason is analyzed in detail in this paper.According to these reasons,a new scheme,EHN-HP is proposed.EHN-HP modifies TCP protocol and takes a new phase,Handoff Process,which is used to process the events in the mobile handoff specially.The simulation result indicates that EHN-HP mechanism can improve the TCP performance during the mobile handoff.

      摘要:This paper proposes a novel strategy called correlated boundaries strategy against the two main problems of location management scheme in cellular networks:Ping-pong location update effect existing between two location areas and concentration of signals at boundaries.This strategy is able to reduce the Ping-pong effect effectively and balance the load of signals at boundaries by adding certain cells as expansions of the new location area,whenever a mobile terminal moves into a cell belongs to a new location area.Using random walk mobility model,the strategy in this paper is compared with conventional strategy and further proved by results of simulation.It is proved by both analysis and simulation that the strategy proposed in this paper is not only easy to implement,but improves the performance greatly.

    • An Adaptive VR-HARQ for Time-Varying Channels

      摘要:For time-varying channel,the reliability of data transmission contradicts with the throughput efficiency.To solve the problem,the paper proposed a new VR-HARQ (Variable Redundancy Hybrid-ARQ) scheme based on the adaptive line predictor.Assumed that the fading of the time-varying channel is slow,the channel is equivalent to a finite-markov process,where each Markov state corresponds different BER.Simultaneity,the paper derives the best channel coding scheme for each Markov state.Based on the current time slot’s channel states,the next time slot’s channel state is predicted using adaptive line predictor algorithm.Then the best channel coding scheme is selected to maximize the channel throughput efficiency.Simulation results showed that the performance of the new scheme is better than that of the traditional schemes.

    • A New Angiogram Images Enhancement Method

      摘要:Presents a new angiogram image enhancement algorithm.The X-ray angiogram image quality is often not good due to various kinds of reasons,which cause a lot of difficulties to vessel segmentation or vessel axis extraction.To overcome this shortcoming,we firstly analyze the original anisotropic diffusion.Then the characteristics of angiogram images are investigated,and a new model of contrast is presented.Based on this contrast model,we propose a new anisotropic diffusion to enhance the X-ray angiogram images,which can adaptively choose the conductance parameter.Experimental results show that this new method is very effective.

    • A Novel Method of Color Image Edge Detection Based on Cloning Algorithm

      摘要:In the edge detection of images,it is difficult to obtain a better edge continuity and less over-detection points.This paper analyzed the principal of cloning technique,and proposed a cloning algorithm,which is applied to the edge detection of color images.We proposed a new method of the edge extraction of color images by integrating the cloning algorithm and the edge connection algorithm.Finally experimental results are compared with the results of the edge detection of Canny's Operator,and demonstrate a better edge continuity and less over-detection points of our algorithm.

    • A Novel Self-adaptive Chaotic Genetic Algorithm

      摘要:This paper presents a new real-value encoding self-adaptive chaotic genetic algorithm to solve optimization problem based on the analysis for shortcoming of standard binary-encoding genetic algorithm.It is used the entropy based on information theory to initialize population with better distribution and designed a crossover operator in light of probability distribution function and a self-adaptive chaotic mutation operator combined chaotic dynamic character with artificial neural network theory,which maintains population diversity to prevent and overcome premature phenomena in the evolutionary process.This algorithm is easy to implement with the simple operation.Several typical benchmark function numerical experiments demonstrate that it is improved on the solution precision and increased convergence speed.The proposed method provides an effective new method to solve the function optimization problems.

    • Key Technologies of the New-style Instrument for Tongue Image Analysis

      摘要:Tongue image analysis instrument is designed for giving quantitative description of tongue manifestation in Traditional Chinese Medicine.The old-style instrument is bulky,and could not get and analyze the samples of bedfast patients.To solve this problem,a new portable instrument has been developed which uses flashlight and integral sphere to make illuminating condition.Since the illuminating condition of the instrument has changed,some experiments are made on the new instrument,and parameters are chosen.a color reproduction method based on polynomial modeling is proposed to achieve the corresponding RGB values under the standard condition from image data obtained by the new device.The results of experimentations have proved the validity of the new-style instrument.

    • Primary Study of Tongue Manifestation Multi-Feature Fusion Application

      摘要:Several means of tongue manifestation information fusion are analyzed and compared and the means based on feature layer and decision layer and both are available in principle.The experiment results show the correct recognition rate based on them is low.It is very difficult to acquire a good result because of some factors such as much difference between two features.Rough set theory is a valid means to solve this problem.Some symptoms may be defined by the tongue manifestation features and some symptoms cannot be defined by the means based on the rough set theory,which avoids the error judgement in some sense and is crucial to the Chinese medical diagnosis.Rough set theory is hopeful to become an important means in the standardization of the symptom of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM).

      摘要:This paper addresses the problem of evaluating quantitatively radar capability in marine atmospheric ducts environments.The proposed method combines the parabolic equation model of radio propagation in the troposphere with the radar receiver theory,and the maximum detection range characteristics of radar can be obtained through setting thresholds on the electromagnetic wave propagation loss distribution in actual ducts environments.Simulation data are presented which clearly display that the method is convenient to find out the anomalous characteristics of radar such as Over-The-Horizon detection.The experimental data of Dalian in 2003 is analyzed,the results of the method are coincident with the actual detection of radar,which prove the practicality of this method and the anomalous detection ability of radar in atmospheric ducts environments.

      摘要:The performance bounds of scattering center parameter estimation is studied based on the Cramér-Rao bound (CRB) of Damped Exponentials (DE).By simplifying the CRB matrix of one/two-component DE model,the relations between the estimation variance of position,intensity,type parameter and the radar/target parameters are obtained,together with the SNR threshold for type discrimination and the resolution limit for wide band radar.All these results are given in analytical expressions which reveal the internal relation among different parameters.The conclusions are verified by simulations.

    • Study on Real-Time Task Scheduling of Multifunction Phased Array Radars

      摘要:A reasonable task model of multifunction phased array radars is built,and a novel approach to schedule radar tasks in a real-time fashion is proposed.In the task model each kind of dwell requests combines to form a task,which can provide the maximal flexibility for the radar scheduler.And the method of calculating time load of the scheduler is given based on the task model.The proposed algorithm takes the priority of task’s function mode and the deadline into account synthetically,and can adapt different load conditions better.The method is evaluated with the missed deadline ratio,and the simulation results show the proposed algorithm can improve the performance of the radar scheduler effectively.

      摘要:An integrative algorithm of passive detection and tracking of underwater moving target based on the co-processing algorithm of Matched-Field and Long Time Integration is proposed.The probabilistic data association technique is introduced into the co-processing algorithm.First constitute the test statistic and then calculate the posterior data association probability to establish the information fed back from the tracker to the detector.On the process of detecting and tracking,the signal model method and the multiple models combination method are used to simulate the moving state of the target.The integrative algorithm is proved effective by the data from the emulator experiment and the experiment on the sea.

    • TD-EFIE Approach to Transient Analysis for Arbitrarily-Shaped Conductors

      摘要:The time domain electric field integral equation (TD-EFIE) approach to analysis of transient electromagnetic response of various kinds of antennas and scatterers is presented.In the analysis,impressed sources and the shape of the conductors are arbitrarily given.The effects of temporal basis function on the results are studies firstly.To overcome the late-time oscillation and keep the accuracy of the solution,a novel averaging scheme has been proposed.A number of numerical examples are given and the results are compared with ones obtained from inverse Fourier transform (IDFT).The good agreement between them shows the correctness and effectiveness of the method proposed.

      摘要:A new high resolution and high precision algorithm is proposed for joint DOA and TOA estimation of multi-path signals.In this method,using the correlation of multi-path signals and referenced signals,the estimation of DOA is realized with the PRO-ESPRIT technique.And the vector of correlation time delay is transformed to extract the time delay information from cross-power-spectrum phase(CSP),thus,the high resolution estimation of TOA is obtained.At last,the simply equation is derived to replace the complex procedure.The proposed approach can obtain the fractional time-delay due to estimating without searching in the certain steps.Therefore,it exhibits the faster speed than the methods with time-delay searching.Finally,the Cramer-Rao lower bound of joint DOA and TOA estimation for frequency model is derived and the performance of this method is evaluated through computer simulation.

    • A Fast Text Location Algorithm in DCT-Compressed Domain

      摘要:A fast and effective approach of automatic text localization in images with complex background is presented.Text areas can be segmented with an adaptive threshold using a new feature extracted from DCT-compressed domain,and then a coarse-to-fine projecting and merging algorithm is proposed to locate the final text area.Experiments based on JPEG image testing sets show its effective and robustness for contrast,language,and background complexity.

    • A New Ground Moving Targets Detector in Dual-Channel SAR Images

      摘要:Concerning ground moving targets detection in dual-channel SAR images,a novel detector based on dual-channel sample covariance matrix is proposed.The method succeeds by checking magnitude and phase variation of off-diagonal elements in sample covariance matrix.Compared with traditional DPCA,it achieves better clutter rejection,eliminates influences from target sidelobes,sets threshold more easily and gets lower Pfa.Simulation results show the effectiveness of the method.

      摘要:The paper studies the impact of transmitter spatial correlation on the performance of multiuser system in the downlink.Exact expressions for the average channel capacity of the multiuser diversity systems combined with TxAA and STBC respectively are derived,and the average capacity is analyzed.The simulation results are consistent with the analysis results,which show that the transmitter spatial correlation improves the average capacity of the multiuser diversity system,and under the comparison of the average capacity,the TxAA scheduler outperforms the STBC scheduler.
