摘要:Our recent work and results obtained in the fields about electromagnetic bandgap(EBG) stnxture, multi(single) antenna the channel properties of multi(single) antenna systems are introduced.The results about the following are introduced:the methods to miniature the structure and broaden the bandgap width of EBG structures, compact wide-band/multi-band antennas, multi-antenna systems suitable for multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) wireless communications for mobile terminals, and the indoor/outdoor channel properties of SISO/MIMO systems.
摘要:In multiple-antenna wireless communication systems, when the trinsrrtitter obtains the quantized channel direction by a limited feedback link fiom the receiver, benefits of improving throughput and reducing bit error rate can be realized.This paper presents an overview of codebook design for limited feedback, which is the most important problem in the system.The codebook design can mainly classified as two schemes:one based on subspace packing in Grassmann manifold and another based on vector quantization in source coding.We highlight the principles and related algorithms of both schemes, which involve various modes about channels and data, and then compare the key characteristics of them.

摘要:A novel low-complexity iterative receiver in Multiple Input Multiple Output(MNVIO) channel is presented.Partial parallel interference cancellation based on QR decomposition is used in, which different layers is grouped and jointly detected by MAP.The interference between different antennas is cancelled effectively through serially concatenating a soft input soft output(SISO) detector and Turbo decoder by iterative process.Three dimension extrinsic information transfer characteristics(3D EXIT charts) are used to analysis the processes of iterative.Compared with traditional QR based serial interference cancellation iterative rerxiver,tbe performance of the proposed receiver is improved greatly.And it is not sensitivity to the mismatched SNR.
摘要:In some multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO)fading environments, the MIMO channel capacity can become very low even for uncorrelated signals; this effect has been tend keyhole or pinhole.Tn this paper, we present the close-form error probabilities of space time block codes(STBC) for arbitrary number of transmit and receive antennas with M-QAM modulation in Keyhole MIMO fading channels.Using a rrtoment-gertecation-function-based(MGF-based) analysis approach, we provide the rigorous closed-form results of symbol error probability(SEP).wth different number of transmit and receive antennas, the approximate expressioms is presented at medium and high SNR regime.Finally, simulation results are also provided to verify our analytical results.

摘要:The optimal design of training sequences for Multiple-Input Multiple-Output(MIMO) channel estimation with spatial correlation is considered.Based on the criterion of Minimum Mean Square Error(MMSE),the optimal training sequences that have controllable length are designed to exploit full information of the spatial correlation.Furthermore, a lower hound on the caparity of a training-based MIMO system is derived,from which the optimal number of training symbols is given.It is investigated that the proposed training sequences have good performance and the capacity lower bound is valid.
摘要:In this paper, a novel joint data detection and channel estimation scheme is proposed for Alamouti space-time block coding(STBC) systems.By taking the time-varying characteristic of the channel statistics into account,a new dynamic channel model is adopted in this scheme.According to this model,a channel estimator based on adaptive Kalman filter is also proposed.By applying the sequential evidence maximiztion with sequentially updated prior method to estimate the noise variance of system equation, the estimation of maximum Doppler &rquency shift is not required in this proposed scheme.The proposed estimator has lower complexity than that of conventional Kalman estimator.Meanwhile, simulation results show that the proposed estimator has better performance than conventional Kalman estimator.Furthermore, this proposed scheme is robust to different maximum Doppler frequency shift.
摘要:When multiple input multiple output(MIMO)-orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) systems operate in frequency-selective fast fading channels, the orthogonality among subcarriers will be violated, which brings about intercarrier interference(ICI).The existence of the ICI will significantly degrade the performances of the detectors dedicated to MIMO-OFDM systems in quasi-static fireqtrency-selective fading channels.In this paper, we extend the optimum linear preprocessing idea, which is proposed by Schniter for single input single output OFDM systems, to MIMO-OFDM systems.Based on the new signal model, we extend the minimum mean square error filtering based iterative soft decision interference cancellation(MMSE-ISDIC) symbol detector,and propose a quasi-maximum a posteriors probability based ISDIC(quasi-MAP-ISDIC) joint detector.Simulatiott results show that both detectors outperforms the detector proposed in [8] for the scenarios considered in this paper, and the quasi-MAP-ISDIC detector can obtain a performance close to that of the MAP detecwr with ideal ICI cancellation.
摘要:For the Vertical Bell Laboratories Layered Space-Time(V-BLAST) systems, the minimum-mean-squaro-error(MMSE) filtering based iterative interference carxellation detector(IC-MMSE) is studied with esrimated channel state information(CSI).By taking the channel estimation error(CEE) into consideration, a modified MMSE filtering is proposed to acquire less mean-square-emor(MSE)than that of the mismatched one,which neglects the CEE.Simulation results show that significant performarce gains can be obtained by adopting the modified MMSE filtering without additional computational complexity.
摘要:Based on IEE802.22, the distributed radio tiesounce management problem for MIMO-OFDM system in cognitive radio context is researched in this paper.The multiuser power and channel allocation pcvblem to mvcimize the total capacity is prayed to be a Supermodular game according to the game theory.A corresponding power and channel allocation algorithm is given and extended to the MIhIQOFDM system.Simulation results indicate that our method can achieve greater performance improvement in channel capacity with finite repeated game.
摘要:In the multiuser orthogonal fraqt}ncy division multiplexing(OFDM)system, system capacity and fairness can not be simultaneously achieved in general.A novel resource allocation algorithm, which jointly considers the system capacity and fairness, is proposed in this paper.Based on each user's real-time channel state infomration(CSI) and required data rate, the proposed algorithm makes full use of multiuser diversity to maximize the system capacity and guarantee the fairness by choosing suitable access time,and achieved the purpose of optimizing system in both time and frequency domains.Simulation results indicate that the proposed algorithm can effectively increase the system capacity without increasing the algorithm complexity and losing the fairness among users.
摘要:In this paper, we present a measurement method of the real minimum Elartuning distance of several kinds of LDPC codes,including quasi-cyclic LDPC codes,pirotation LDPC codes,etc.The minimum distance is indirectly obtained by computing the cycles of the LDPC code.Since the complexity of computing the cycles is much lower than that of direct computing the minimum distance, the method is efficient to compute the minimum distance of the LDPC code.From one of simulation results, it shows that it takes about 77 minutes to compute a minimum distance of 24 for a rate 1/4 quasi-cyclic LDPC code using a common personal computer.
摘要:The equivalent circuit model for electromagnetic bate-gap structure(EBG) is analyzed in this paper, and also the methods of broadening the bandwidth of band-gap are studied.A novel method, which is called "United Cells Method", to broaden the bandwidth of band-gap of G stmcture is proposed.The correction and validity are confirmed, by the results of software-simulations and experiments, using mushroom-like EBG stucture with spiracle inductance on patches.This method gives a novel rrtind to broaden the bandwidth of EBG structures.
摘要:Recent research results show that limited feedback precoding proves effective in increasing rrancmiccion rate in the multiple-input multiple-output(NIIMO) system,fiuther performance gain can be achieved if power control is used along with limited feedback precoding at transmitter.In order to maximize the spectral efficiency of the finite-rate feedback MIMO systems, a novel power allocation and precodictg scheme is proposed based on adative modulation.Furthermore, we feed back the preceding matrix and power vector through double codebooks for reducing the feedback overhead,and a new codebook design approach for power vector based on the clustering analysis is developed.Simulation results show that the proposed scheme greatly improves the spectral efficiency with low feedback overfiead

摘要:A joint channel estimation and data detection scheme which is based on Markov chain Monte Carlo(MCMC) is proposed for multiple-input multiple output orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(MIMO-OFDM) systems with multi-tone narrow-band interference(MTNBI).The channel impulse response, the noise variance and the indicator of the impulse noise can be estimated accurately,and then the receiver lmows whether th signal is interfered by the narrow band interference.One of the most attractive advantages of MCMC method is that it can cooperate with soft-input soft-ouput decoding, and山us it can be used in Tlubo detection and complete the turbo detection.Simulation results show that compared with the receiver with ideal channel state infotmation, the proposed receiver only has 3dB performance loss under the slow fading channel.

摘要:A spectrum-efficient block-ordered joint beamforming linear dispersion code(BO-JBLDC) is presented for MIMO(Multi-Input Multi-Output) wireless communication systems with correlated channels.The proped BO-JBI-DC method partitions the available transmit antennas into several blocks and applies linear dispersion code(LDC) on each block, which can decrease decoding complexity and increase code gain.Transmit and receive eigen-beamfomting was employed in the presence of deteriotative fading correlation.A novel post-ordered interference suppression and canceling decoder and its iterative scheme are presented to remove inter-substream interference and enhance the order of spatial diversity gain.The results show that BO-JBLDC can lower decodine comnlexitv and imrnuve spectral efficiency and reliability simificantly.

摘要:To getting high data rate tramscnission scheme in a mufti-path fading environment in Multiple Input Multiple Out-put(MIMO)-Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing(OFDM) systems,a simple rate-one Space-Time-Frequency Block Code(STFBC) based on linear constellation decoding(LCP) and coordinate interleaving is proposed.The proposed scheme can get the frequency diversity gain by applying LCP transform and reach transmission rate one by applying coordinate interleaving to the LCP transfomed symbols, and the proposed scheme can improve the bit error petformance of the systems.Simulation show that compared with the traditional Space-Timc-OFDM(ST-OFDM) system, arr scheme can get mote diversity gain,more high frequency efficiency and better bit error performance.Without channel coding, when the BER is 10-2, our scheme artperforms the traditional scheme about 4dB.If adopting such as MMSE linear receive scheme at the cereiver, the computing complexity of the proposed sctrecne does not increase in evidence.

摘要:We present a serial of new phase shifters and power dividers based on the nonlinear phase characteristics of a novel composite right/left handed(CRLH) struture and along with the design formula.The new components have mtych smaller sores than the traditional components with the equivalent properties.Full-wave simulations and some measurement results verify the effectiveness of the new structure.

摘要:Since the artificial left-handed material was realized in 2001, it has been devoting to design left-handed microwave components and antennas with large bandwidth, low loss and high integration ability.In this paper, two lands of left-handed structunes used in microwave canponents and antennas are reviewed, one of which is the composite right/left-handed sttucttue, and the other of which is the complementary split-ring resonator stnxture.Both structures have been widely studied and applied in the design of microwave components and antennas.The progress of the related researches on these two structures is summarized in this paper, in addition to some of our achievements.The principles and applications of planar left-handed circuits are analyzed and demonstrated in details.

摘要:A low-complexity iterative receiver for multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) bit-interleaved coded modulation(BICM) systems is proposed in this paper.In the proposed scheme,we apply lirsrar minimum mean square error(MMSE) filter in the first iteration and utilize a new low-complexity MMSE combining with soft interference cancellation(SIC) in the following iterations to suppress residual interference and noise.By adopting the strategy that the different components of the residuals and the noise are approximated by uncorrelated random variables after the SIC, the complexity of the algorithm can be greatly reduced as the matrix inversion for MMSE is not necessary.Computer simulation results confirm that the proposed scheme can achieve almost the same performance as the conventional MMSE combining with SIC with much lower complexity.
摘要:Based on requirements of the 4th Generation mobile communication system, link techniques and single frequency distributed networking in FUTURE TDD trial network are explored.The whole link parameters and single frequency distributed networking based on soft fractional frequency reuse,derived according to Extension set theory,are proposed.Finally,the BLER of the whole link and frequency reuse factor of the system are presented under the trial test scenario.

摘要:Frequency reuse and macro diversity are both requested in 3GPP2 AIE system, but current frequency reuse schemes do not support macro diversity.In order to obtain a frequency reuse schemes with macro diversity,a novel frequency reuse scheme based on soft fiactional frequency reuse(SFER) is ptnposed.Furthermore, matterelement model, using extension set theory, is establisfted.By analyzing the model, a scheme called SFFR, supporting macro diversity, is derived.Study shows that the proposed scheme can effectively reduce the inter-cell inteferertces as well as increase spectral efficiency.Futtltemtore, perfommance of cell-edge uses is improved because of interference coordination and macro diversity gain.Simulation results show that this scheme improves average capacity of cell-edge.

摘要:In order to solve the problem of mufti-user interference among neighbor cells under generalized distributed net-work, system model of interference cell set is established, followed by two proposed algorithms for mufti-user joint interference suppression.In which,the Crossed Iterative Joint Detection(CI-JD) algorithm performs stepwise interference cancellation among multiusers and could improve the system performance effectively with a little extra complexity, while the Global Joint Detection(GI-JD) algorithm builds a unified model with mufti-users' infomtation and could not only restrain mufti-user interference but also obtain divecsity gain in the process of detection.Simulation results validate the feasibility and significant effect of the two algorithms.
摘要:It's important to establish an effective UWB MIMO propagation indoor model for designing a system.In this paper, we developed a 3-D UWB MIMO channel model using the Ray Tracing method in the time domain, based on ray mechanisms of georrretrical optics(GO) and uniform geometrical theory of diffraction(UTD) in the time domain.Accading to the simulation results for the indoor channel, the following conclusions were obtained.The deep fading could be improved by using two transmitting antennas than one transmitting antenna, but the fast fading turns out worse.The receiving perforrrrance can be improved with multipath receiving rriethod.The vertical polarization receiving is stronger than other receiving directions when the transmitting antenna is vertically polarized.The correlation of the channels when the antenna is placed in the middle of a room is better than the correlation when the antenna is at one side of the room.Using two transmitting antennas could also improve the correlation than using one.

摘要:Using concatenated training sequences for frequency-offset estimation is one of the solutions to the problem of phase ambiguity over MIMO frequency-selective fading channels.A concatenated sequence consists of short sequences for coarse estimation and long sequences for fine estimation.In this paper, we use the Crarter-Rao Lower Bound(CRLB) as a rnerric to analyze the perfomance of concatenated training sequences.It is shown that the performance of a concatenated training sequence is asymptotically equal to that of the long sequences.Furthemore, we show that the optimal concatenated training stnrcture that minimimzes threshold and the CRLB is just dividing the complete sequence into the shortest blocks without long blocks.Finally, numerical results validate our analysis.
摘要:What's the capacity of the mufti-user MIMO downlink and how to get the Capacity are the hot research topics in the latest yeais.The BD(Block Diagonalization) algorithm[5],based on the constraint which the interferences between different users are zero,have two drawbacks.One is the capacity loss because the sisal spaces of different uses are overlapped,the other is that it is required that the number of the access point's antennas must larger than the sum of the num of users' antennas.This paper presents two linear precoding algorithms.One is the optimal algorithm based on the maximization of SJNR, the other is a modified suboptimal algorithm which can improve the downlink capacity.By capacity analysis and simulation, the performances of the two algorithms both are better than BD algorithm.
摘要:Canier Frequency offsets in multiuser Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing(OFDM)system will introduce Inter-Carrier Interference(ICI) and Multiple-Access Interference(MAI), and consequently degrade the system performance.The problem of frequency offsets estimation in the uplink of multiuser OFDM is addressed.A novel iterative parameter estimation method with interference cancellation of multiuser detection is proposed.The new estimator decreases the complexity of the multi-dimensional search with ML method, and efficiently solves the problem of multi-frequency offsets estimation.
摘要:A method of iterative channel estimation is proposed for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) system using superimposed training sequence with iterative receiver.The training sequence is exploited to get an initial channel estimate such that the iterative decoding process can be started.After each decoding iteration, the updated log likelihood ratio(LLR) of a posteriors probabilities on the coded bits are used to estimate the transmitted data symbols, which are fed back and used to improve channel estimates.Theoretical analysis of the mean square error(MSE) of the channel estimates is presented.In frequency selective fading channel,computer simulations of MSE perfonnance of the channel estimation method and bit rrror rate(BER) performance of the system under different conditions are given,which demonstrate the efficiency and validity of the proposed method.

摘要:We consider the power allocation problem for single-user multiple-input multiple-output(MIMO) systems.Assume that the receiver has perfect channel lmowledge,while the transmitter has either mean or covariance of the channel matriz.The channel is modeled as either an uncorrelated Rician fading channel or correlated Rayleigh fading channel.We propose new power allocation algorithms for MIMO systems with channel mean or covariance information at the transmitter n.spactively, through the maximitation of a tight lower bound of the ergodic channel capacity.Simulation results confirm the performance.
摘要:Bit error(BER) performance and computational efficiency are two keys which judge a multiuser detector's performance.In DS-CDMA, a new multiuser interference cartcellation decision feedback equalizer which has eroor feedback filter, based on difference structure, is presented.Compared with previous multiuser interference cancellation decision feedback equalizer which has error feedback filter, the new approach reduces compurtational efficiency by using difference algorithm, also keeps a good BFR performance.

摘要:The bit error rate(BER) perfomance of orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing(OFDM) system with superimposed sequence is presented in time varying mufti-path fading channel,which uses the first order statistics of the superimposed sequence.Based on the minimum error rate principle, the optimum sequence separation parameter is given.Finally, the computer simulotion results validate the analysis.
摘要:In this paper, a Scaled Max-Log-MAP(SMLM) iterative equalization algorithm is proposed, and its sensitivity to SNR mismatch is also studied.The results show that SMLM algorithm performs much better than MLM, in addition to insensitivity to SNR errors,especially over low-loss channels.Then taking account of the possible hard-ckcision errors after first a few iterations using MLM algorithm, an improved switching turbo equalization algorithm between MLM and IM is presented, by which the performanse is improved dramatically compared to that without SNR correction.Finally, based on the fact of insensitivity of SMLM algorithm to SNR mismatch, a new switching equalization algorithm between SMLM and LM is also given.The simulation results show that this new algorithm can further not only improve the system performance, but reduce the complexity of systems, although it does not need any pilot symbols as well.
