Abstract

A hybrid method is prposed for the optimization of multisensor detection system under Neyman-Pearson criteria.It optimizes the object function by using evolutionary strategies to do global search and Powell's directional acceleration method to do local search respectively,and does not need the object function's derivation information.The results of distributed CFAR system design examples show better convergent ability and precision for the hybrid method than gradient algorithm.
