Abstract

The Evolutionary strategy method is first introduced into parallel machine earliness/tardiness scheduling problem with common due date.Researches are made in the aspects of problem formulation,composite code of individual,dynamic fuzzy logic control of parameters of evolutionary strategy and local searching.Computational results of different scale problems show that the method can effectively solve the parallel machine scheduling problem with relatively large scale.
