Abstract

We introduced agree predictor into UNICORE architecture to evaluate the performance enhancement brought by the configuration of dynamic branch predictor,in order for giving quantitative reference for UNICORE reconstruction.Using system simulator,we synthetized the effect of the prediction scheme and the branch target buffer.The conclusion is useful to the single-issue-pipeline microprocessor design.
