Abstract

A general SER performance analysis framework of Cascade Distributed Antenna System (CDAS) in CDMA system with hybrid SC/MRC diversity receiver is presented.The channel model assumes frequency-selective channel with Nakagami/lognormal composite fading statistics.With the derived general SER formula,the influences of Multipath Intensity Profile (MIP)'s decaying factor,spatial and temporal diversity order,number of user and the shadowing factor are analyzed.Numerical results show that the CDAS can effectively combat fading,and improve the system capacity.It can also impair the impact of lognormal shadowing fading.
