For the existing nonstationary spatial characteristics of radio frequency interference (RFI) in high frequency (HF) radar
Fabrizio came up with an interference rejection method.Nevertheless
the method ignored its side effects on the coherent integration of target signals.This effect is analyzed in this paper.On the basis of the analysis a novel array pattern synthesis algorithm is proposed and further applied to the adaptive interference cancellation in HF radar.Simulation results show that the performance of HF radar is greatly improved.
