生物特征识别技术作为一种身份识别的手段

具有独特的优势

近年来已逐渐成为国际上的研究热点.本文综述了各种生物特征识别技术的基本原理和一些关键技术

对每种生物特征的优势和不足进行了分析

并对生物特征识别技术中存在的问题和未来的研究方向进行了讨论.

Abstract

An accurate automatic personal identification is critical to our highly inter-connected information society.Biometrics refers to automatic identification of an individual based on her/his physiological or behavioral traits.Though biometrics is not an identi-fication panacea

it is beginning to provide very powerful tools for problems requiring positive identification.This paper attempts to summarize important research issues in biometrics.
