The performance of a smart antenna system is deteriorated markedly by the mismatch among antenna element channels. To combat this
an equalizer is usually used
but the detection of useful signals for active users is degraded since the additional signal is required in equalization.A new calibration method is proposed in this paper
which can mitigate the additional signal.Simulation results are presented to demonstrate its effectiveness
and the relationship between the performance and some key parameters is also discussed.
