In this paper linearly constrained minimum variance (LMCV) algorithm is originally applied to pattern synthesis for satellite multiple-beam antenna.Under constraint on main lobe level
the pattern of antenna is synthesized by minimizing the radiation power of antenna.Unlike conventional iterative algorithms
LCMV is an analytic algorithm
which makes it more accurate and efficient than those conventional algorithms and easily converge.In the end
