Phased Array Design for a High Performance Compact High-Frequency Surface Wave Radar
This paper Analyzes the design principle of the single unit and array antennas for the high-frequency surface wave radar (HF-SWR).The HF-SWR for the antenna system featured with "a linear phased array composed of eight two-element Yagi-Uda unit and T/R bi-functional array with one transmitting and eight receiving" has been proposed and successfully designed.The electronic characteristic has been analyzed in detail.Experiments show that the array system meets all the indexes the system demands.
