A Novel 2-D Signal Processing Scheme for Quasi-Random Step Frequency Signal
HF radars are restricted to operating within very narrow bands
thus obtain a poor range resolution.A quasi-random step frequency signal with discontinuous bands is presented to improve the system bandwidth while avoiding the heavy interference bands.A two-dimension signal processing scheme for this signal is proposed on the basis of signal analysis.Simulation results demonstrate that the scheme could decouple the range-Doppler ambiguity
thus successfully realize the range-Doppler resolution and effectively suppress maximal sidelobe.
