Analysis of Power Division Network of Slot Array with FDTD and the Generalized Network Connection Theory
The FDTD method has found its wide applications in various microwave engineering problems.Limited by computation resources
however
the method can't be directly employed in analyzing complicated systems.A scheme combining the FDTD method with the generalized network connection theory is presented to overcome this drawback.First
the basic units of a complicated network are simulated with the FDTD method
then the characteristic of the complicated system is analyzed with the generalized network connection theory.The power division network of slot antenna array is a typical complicated microwave system.The property of a power division network with five ports is analyzed in the paper.Numerical results obtained show the effectiveness of the scheme.
