For the design and operation of high-speed broadband network
survivability and efficiency are two essential problems.How to satisfy the different service requirements as well as reduce the cost of network becomes increasingly concerned.In this paper
we propose a new restoration strategy which is based on combination of the pre-planning and pre-configured methods.Through the performance analysis in fixed span capacity network model
it shows that high efficiency can be obtained from a trade-off between protection ratio and the length of restoration path.
