Abstract
J2EE specifications haven 't yet definitely defined any common service which provides load balance.To meliorate the scalability of network software
however
supporting load balance at middleware level has become an important issue which should be focused on by all J2EE application server providers.In this paper
we first analyze load-balance related technologies currently used on J2EE platforms.After that
we present a flexible and customizable load balancing framework which supports several load balancing strategies and describe the implementing details of the framework on a J2EE application server PKUAS.
