Method for Acceleration and Velocity Estimation of Linear FMCW Radar's Target Based on Polynomial Phase Transform
the echo signal of moving target with acceleration has Doppler aberration which will degrade the detection performance and parameter estimation of target.Based on the Polynomial Phase Transform method
the paper first estimates the target's acceleration from the Doppler signal with the polynomial phase transformed
then compensates the Doppler signal with the estimated acceleration
finally
estimates the target's velocity from the compensated Doppler signal.The simulation indicates that the method can improve the detection performance and velocity estimation precision of the accelerated targets.
