Capacity and Antenna Selection of MIMO System over Keyhole Nakagami-m Fading Channels
We present a comprehensive analysis for the capacity and bit-error rate (BER) performance of orthogonal space-time block codes (STBCs) over Nakagami fading channels in the presence of keyholes of in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO).We first derive a tight lower capacity bound.We also present the exact expression for the outage probability and an approximated BER formula.On this basis
we analyze the antenna selection problem over keyhole MIMO channels.Finally numerical results are presented to verify our analysis.It is shown that the diversity order
with antenna selection
is maintained as that of the full complexity system.
