Analysis of EM Scattering by Composite Conducting and Dielectric Object Using Combined Field Integral Equation with MLFMA
A new combined field integral equation is proposed to analyze the electromagnetic scattering for composite conducting and dielectric object.Through properly choosing the coupling coefficients of the equations
the resultant matrix equation achieves better convergence properties.The restarted generalized minimum residual method (GMRES) is applied in the multilevel fast multipole algorithm (MLFMA) and preconditioning technique is used to further improve the convergence rate.Numerical examples are presented to compare the efficiency of different methods and show the validity and high efficiency of proposed method.
