Design and Realization of a Novel C-Band Spatial Power Combiner in Waveguide
The configuration of a novel spatial power combiner in waveguide was introduced.Employing the optimized Klopfenstein tapered fin line arrays
the waveguide-based power combiner based on 2×3 arrays at C band was realized.Its size is 70.12mm×98.44mm×160mm and it was implemented by using six commercial GaAs MMIC amplifiers.CW power combiner measurements were performed
the linear gain is about 8.5dB
the saturation output power is 42.82dBm(19.1W)at 4.2GHz
the PAE is 25.3% and the efficiency is about 72.3%.
