The Ultra WideBand(UWB) Radar is a promising candidate for detecting human bodies in many fields such as urban-warfare
counter-terrorism and calamity rescue scenarios.Conventional UWB imaging algorithm can not meet the demand in the capability of targets recognition and calculation efficiency.This paper proposed a novel algorithm based on high-speed SEABED algorithm for UWB radar systems in which walking motion was used to replace antenna scanning by assuming a system model.The effectiveness and feasibility of the algorithm is demonstrated via simulated and experimental results.It is shown that the proposed algorithm features simple hardware requirement
low calculation
and high imaging precision
and it can be used to estimate the velocity
image and track walking human bodies.
