本文介绍了一种利用0.25μm CMOS工艺实现的12通道垂直腔面发射激光器(VCSEL)阵列驱动器电路.该电路采用3.3V单电源供电

单通道最大输出调制电流超过30毫安

单通道工作速率达到3.125Gb/s

12个并行通道的总带宽为37.5Gb/s.

Abstract

A 12-channel vertical-cavity-surface-emitting laser (VCSEL) array driver chip has been realized in a 0.25μm CMOS technology.The maximum output modulation current of a single channel is over 30 mA.Experimental results show that a single channel has a speed of 3.125Gb/s and a total capacity of 37.5Gb/s can be obtained from 12 channels.
