Based on parametric model of signal-multicomponent polynomial phase signal
a novel time frequency kernel is presented.It estimates the instantaneous frequency of each signal component by matched-phase transform
according to different features of phases between the autoterms and crossterms of the instantaneous correlation function of the signal under analysis.The novel time frequency kernel constructed not only shows ideal frequency concentration
but also suffers from few or no crossterms.So
compared with the existing multilinear time-frequency representations
it has advantages in exposing inner characteristics of signals.
