NDPR employs Nonuniform Detection Model to reduce the latency and the cost of L2 handoff detection.Furthermore
NDPR reduces the latency of mobility detection by making the map between IP address and MAC address
and reduces the latency of Care-of Address (CoA) configuration using CoA pre-registering mechanism.The simulation indicates that NDPR can lower the MIPv6 handoff latency efficiently and outperforms its counterparts.
