Optimizing Design for the Compensation Circuit of Electrically Small Antennas with Short-Circuited Transmission Line
A novel compensation circuit of electrically small antennas is presented
in which a short-circuited transmission line shunted with the antenna is used to realize the broadband matching. Optimizing design scheme is obtained in the premise of ensuring the given VSWR and improving efficiency. The compensation ability of the circuit is discussed in detail by calculating numerically parameters of the whole circuit such as impedance
VSWR
efficiency and gain etc.. This is a general design method for optimizing an electrically small antenna because it does not deal with concrete configuration of antennas.
