Hybrid ARQ Scheme Using Rate Compatible Punctured Turbo (RCPT) Codes and Its Performance over Rayleigh Fading Channel
This paper presents a novel Hybrid ARQ (Automatic Repeat reQuest) scheme
which jointly utilizes RCPT (Rate Compatible Punctured Turbo) codes and CPC (alternate "Codeword retransmission"and"Parity retransmission" Chase combining) strategy.Performance of the proposed scheme is investigated by numerous simulations and compared with several current Hybrid ARQ schemes using RCPT codes over Rayleigh fading channel.Numerical results show that the proposed scheme can provide better performance with lower system complexity.
