A coaxial cavity with inner and outer conductors interleaved disk loaded is proposed
and a kind of analysis technique for this type of cavity is obtained by applying the network method to the radial transmission line. This type of cavity has compact volume due to the interleaving of the disks. The results show that the length of an interleaved disk loaded coaxial cavity is nearly one seventh that of a TEM mode cavity
by assuming that both cavities have same size of the cross section and work at same frequency.
