This paper discusses a fault tolerant design and reliability evaluation method for artificial neural network(ANN) controller in detail
taking the Artificial Neural Network Fast Valving Nonlinear Adaptation Controller applied in power control system as an example.Firstly
the importance of the ANN reliability study and the generality of the fault tolerant design and reliability evaluation presented in this paper are proposed.Next
the design structure and principle of fault tolerant design of ANN controller are introduced.Finally
the formula of reliability evaluation and its extension are developed based on the result of fault tolerant design.
