Burst-level loss system input by bursty bursty with the same peak rate is an important queueing model in the study of resources allocation and call admission control in ATM networks. In this paper
a fast recurrent algorithm is proposed to estimate time congestion probability and cell loss rate of this system. Computation shows that this algorithm can present real-time estimation of both parameters above with high accuracy for applications.
