3-D Time Domain Electromagnetic Wave Simulator for Characteristics of High-Speed Digital Transmission Lines in Accordance with IC Structures
A novel 3-D time domain electromagnetic wav simulator for charactetistics of highspeed digital transmission lines in accordance with IC structures is described. It simulates a Gauss pulse to travel on arbitrary coplanar-type transmission line in the IC structures in 3-D space and time. It has been implemented on Convex 240 Vector/Parallel computer. The simulator is useful for the design of highspeed connection in IC and MCM.
