The electromagnetic reflecting characteristics of a plane wave incident on an infinite stratifiedchiral medium coated on metal are investigated by using Wave-Splitting Method in freqUency domain
a newlydeveloped method for computation of electromagnetic fields. Forward-and backward-going modes are identified byapplying physical and mathematical transformation on Plane wave so that the propagating characteristics of electromagnetic wave in chiral media are shown clearly. Some useful conclusions are obtained through deduction andcomputation
which provide theoretical guidance for designing anti-scattering coating.
