摘要

运动补偿是动态图像压缩的主要技术之一．本文从运动场的均匀性出发，结合传统的搜索方法，提出一种改善运动矢量搜索效率的方法．实验结果表明该方法不仅可以减少搜索次数，而且在相同的恢复图像质量时，数码率减少了１５～３０％．

Abstract

Motion compensation is key technique for image sequence coding. This paper reports an improved motion estimation method by considering the homogeneity of motion fields.Comparing with the results of MPEG-I

0% bit rate reduction can be obtained with the same quality of picture.
