Research on Registration Accuracy of Distance Transformation Matching Method for Geometrically Distorted Scene Images
When the attitude and height of the camera is changed by a small increment
a theoretical model of geometrically distorted scenes is estabilished
the registration accuracy of edge distance transformation matching method and its analytic expression is analyzed and derived. Many simulated experiments with real satellite images and aerial images demonstrate the validity of this proposed registration accuracy model
which provides a theoretical and practical basis for design of self-guided systems using image matching.
