摘要

本文全面介绍了一个基于客户机／服务器结构的多媒体合著平台，作者将面向对象技术应用于模型设计与实现，基于会议模型支持合著活动的组织，采用多媒体著作模型ＷＮＣＨ表示多媒体信息的集成，基于客户机／服务器结构完成共享信息管理，该合著平台直接支持了多作者进行多媒体作品合著过程及对合作作品的管理．

Abstract

A multimedia co-authoring system based on the client/server architecture is introduced in this paper. The authors apply the object-oriented technology to design the system

adoptsimple conference model to support the organization of the co-authoring activities

use the WNCHmodel to manage the multimedia information of the multimedia works

and base on the client/seryer architecture to accomplish the management of shared multimedia works. This system supportsdirectly the co-authoring procedure and the management of the shared multimedia works.
