摘要

本文实现了采用Ｒｂ－Ｆａｒａｄａｙ反常色散滤波器（ＦＡＤＯＦ）的外腔半导体激光器，其输出光线宽被压窄，频率可锁定在ＦＡＤＯＦ的四个透射峰上．并观察到ＦＡＤＯＦ磁场改变引起的激光频率的调谐（大于０．２ＧＨｚ），该方案可望用于空间光通信的发射系统．

Abstract

We put forward an external cavity laser using Faraday Anomalous Optical Filter （FADOF） as a frequency selecting device. Its linewidth is reduced and frequency locked to one of the four transmission pinks of FADOF. We also observed the laser frequency tunability （>0.2GHz） caused by the change of FADOF’s magnetic field. This external cavity laser can be used in free-space optical communication system.
