We report a nhole-induced subcritical period-doubling bifurcationi and the corresponding type Ⅱ intermittency that was observed numerically in a circle map describing an electronic relaxation oscillator. Compared with the conventional subcritical period-doubing bifurcation
its characteristic is that the pair of the unstable periodic orbits
which collide with the stable periodic orbit
originate from two special discontinuities of the map.
