A strip-type circular polarizer consisting of multi-planar periodic surfaces is investigated by combination of scattering parameters of each periodic surface. The scattering parameter of every surface is analyzed by the Galerkin method in spectral domain and the entire domain basis functions are selected. The calculated VSWR and axis ratio of the circular polarizer agree quite well with the experimental results. Thus

the effectiveness of the analysis is verified.
