摘要

边沿跟踪由于其处理过程依赖于前一步的运算结果而被归于时序操作一类，本文提出一种全新的并行算法──全向迭代跟踪算法，可以突破边沿跟踪算法中的时序瓶颈，实现高速并行处理。这一算法可以在ＧＡＰＰ脉动阵列处理器上得以实现，分析结果表明，由２５６个ＧＡＰＰ芯片组成的处理阵列，可以完成对５１２×５１２图像的高速并行处理。

Abstract

Based on the result of former processing steps

edge tracing is classified as sequantial operation.In this paper

a new parallel algorithm──All Direction Tracing has been proposed. In this way

the sequantial bottleneck may be broken through. This algorithm can be realized on the GAPP systolic array processors.
