Abstract
The Weibull’s density function of probability distribution can be used to represent the spectrum of raindrop sizes. When the cross polarization discrimination (XPD) for the rain induced depolarization of mm waves is calculated by Weibull distribution
the result is in better agreement with that obtained from local precipitation condition than other known distributions of raindrop sizes.
